His entire raison d’etre - white male supremacy?
Supremacy strikes me as not quite what Carlson is selling – it is sort of white male inferiority turned into a special claim to grievance.
FoxNews used to be about white male privilege, but most of those males got canned for exploiting their power. Carlson is only there because of the vacuum created by their departure, and by the that of women who had turned them in. He is the incel’s standard bearer – not good enough to compete on a level playing field, but eager to step into the shoes of a Bill O’Reilly if he should be felled by his own hubris. Carlson whines about it every night – “they” want to eliminate the white male from history! He is the whiteness affirmative action hire, and his incel writers fantasize that he is actually the the one who is discriminated against, whose narrative is one of courage in the face of adversity. Actually, the only adversity he ever faced was being mocked by Jon Stewart, pretty much the rest of his career has been a token white guy who could fail upward because of the departure of others.

The Daily Caller was the only website I felt like I needed a shower after reading the comments. I’m sure there are white supremacist and Nazi sites that are worse, but I’ve never been that curious to find out. Haven’t read anything at the Daily Caller for 3 or 4 years. Breitbart’s comments were similar, but not quite as racist and hateful.

I only keep up with what Media Matters says about him. You’re right of course his is a version of white supremacy – but Carlson’s such a snivelling cur I was just trying to capture his unique whiny brand of it.
