I’m sorry, I misunderstood. You are right, the DNI also found the complaint credible.
Which is why he went to DT and Barr first. If he had determined the WB complaint, baseless, he would have had it messengered to Congress immediately.
The Solomon/Schweizer connection is the part of this that I enjoy the most. What was supposed to be another vague, unsubstantiated “clouds and shadows” story injected into the headlines of the NY Times and WaPo was taken as legit by Trump and Giuliani. The fools have lost track of how the propaganda works.
It is awe-inspiring watching Trump’s regime unraveling before our very eyes in real time. Trump’s downfall is accelerating and it looks doubtful whether he can stop the process (despite Barr’s best efforts to deflect).
It will be interesting to see whether, or perhaps how soon, the R’s in the Senate start defecting. To my mind, that will be the indicator that the end of Trump’s presidency is in sight. It will also be interesting to see how Trump tries to play things if it looks like he’ll be booted out of office.
As many have said: Pass the Popcorn.
LOL! Time to investigate the investigators again!
Those two are the worst, most corrupt, most dishonest sycophants in Congress. How they manage to edge Nunes and Gaetz out, I don’t know, but they take the prize.
Friday’s gonna be a corker!
LOL!
Jim Jordan is my favorite clown !
I thought I saw yesterday that Senator Toomey (R-Graft) of all people came out for an impeachment inquiry yesterday. Things are unravelling fast.
Yeah cause this worked so well last time they tried this.
Now… will that top secret WH server have a Rose Mary Woods moment?
“Pat Toomey says Trump’s call was ‘inappropriate’ but not impeachable…”
Casey did, Toomey didn’t.
Google can be your friend.
No. The protaganist in I Shot the Sheriff is the good guy. Sherriff John Brown is Trump in this allegory.
Sadly, I think you have hit the nail on the head.
But…were they ever really raveled?
Ravel ravel…
Same. Egregiously foolish remark.
If anybody was wondering, “codeword-level” means the very highest level of classification. The Top Secret/Sensitive Compartemented Information (TS/SCI) level of classification is further divided up into compartments which are given codewords. Weird military/intel codewords like GAMMA or TALENT-KEYHOLE. Some of these mean “super top secret” or “super-duper top secret” whereas others mean “this is specific to the U-2 flyover missions” or whatever.
A “codeword-level” electronic storage system (aka “a computer”) would be in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF - the “skiff” you hear on TV/radio/podcast) and of course would not be accessible to anybody without TS/SCI clearance. Only the most squeaky-clean people can pass the rigorous background checks required to get a TS/SCI clearance. The best of the best. People like Jared Kushner.
Cool Story Bro: Back in my yoot, I was in the TS/SCI/TALENT-KEYHOLE bidness. Worked in a SCIF where the “office door” was a 6-inch-thick vault door which would only open remotely after voice confirmation of my identity. You know, just like they have at Mar-a-Lago. I’m not supposed to talk about it, but…hang on someone’s at my door
Oh boy, somebody is all Adderalled up on TV now.
DNI get info on one-way airline tickets purchased by known terrorists.
Goes to terrorists to ask whether there’s anything he should be concerned about … you know, is this one-way trip for business or pleasure.
I may or may not disagree with you here, but there is only one way to find out the truth: put all four of them into an electrified steel cage with an assortment of blunt and edged weapons. The last one surviving is the least corrupt…
…and then is fed to the rabid badger.
Did I mention the rabid badger? Yeah, there is one of those also.
The worst part at the moment for me is the spectacle of sane officials trying to clean up the unholy mess these corrupt fools made. Just appalling.
