Top Dem Says It’s ‘Quite Likely’ Nunes Will Be Investigated For Potential Ethics Violation

Devin “milked” his credibility for a little too long.

Absolutely right to go at this as a conflict of interest, if Nunes was doing investigations and then was supposed to help run impeachment hearings, that’s a clear conflict and he should have recused himself. Dumb move on the part of Republicans to leave him there, both because he’s an incompetent prick but also because this just gave the Republican’s defense a huge whiff of coverup at the Congressional level. That’s going to feed into all the maneuvering in the Senate, so when Trump gets off there is going to be a huge number of people enraged at the unfairness of the process by Republicans, no Democrats (who will have run a fair and honest investigation the whole way).

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving cow tipper.

Thing is, you know damned well they would have pushed their Ukraine DNC Hillary alt.reality to endpoint if they could, including “lock her up” for real. (Putin would also be all in: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/putins-revenge/transcript/ )

Their hate is boundless.

Remember, he’s the guy who supposedly recused himself after he got caught on the midnight run to the White House for “proof” the FBI spied on Trump, before he ran back to “tell the White House” about it. Then he kept working on the conspiracy. So he’s not the smartest cow in the barn.

Clearly he should be thrown off the Intelligence Committee and out of the impeachment hears but could he also be held in contempt of Congress for his slimy antics and not disclosing them?

Oh yeah. Now here’s the question: Will whatever happens be on a straight party line, or is Devin actually personally unpopular enough to lose some GOP votes? I think that’s theoretically possible and will bet a virtual bottle of our favorite single-malt scotch that it might be so. I think he’s that big of a douche, frankly.

I dunno who else did, but I actually filed an ethics complaint thru the online portal hahaha. I doubt that has anything to do with it but meh, nice to think it might have lol

The sad part is, as is the case with Trump voters, that no matter what Nunes is accused of, espionage, treason, bribery … raping and then eating a baby, etc., etc., his contitutients would vote for him again just so they can stick it to the libs. They are truly a sorry bunch.

With what evidence?

Man, I once drank 3 bottles of virtual Glenfiddich 50 year old single malt that cost $23, 900 a bottle.

Evidence? We don’t need no stinking evidence.

I tend to assume I’m rarely the first person who ever thought of a thing but who knows, right? Let’s assume this is your baby until we know otherwise, and way to GO.

Yeah, they do.

That’s their attitude. You’re correct, hence their frustration that none exists.
