‘This Is Worse Than We Feared’

Trump has exceeded all our expectations.

If something involving Trump is worse than you feared at this juncture, you haven’t paid close enough attention for the past 2.5 years.

Donald Trump was ALWAYS at his worst.

Do not forget. This is THE most positive possible take on this corruption. As bad is this clearly is, the reality is FAR worse.

Yup - this was the sanitized version, probably a good bit corrupted more in his favor, and it is STILL awful.

So again, who’s going to get the hook and get this fool off the stage?

This was most definitely - how did Trump put it? - oh, yeah, a perfect call … just perfect.

Not really. The capitulation of his advisors – and, you could say, the whole Republican party – is what exceeded expectations, which I think is what you really meant. He’s no worse than we all feared. Just utterly exposed.

Textbook Criminal Corruption for Trump; Barr and Giuliani.

This could have come right out of the statute definition.

Russians are attacking our election staffs, illegal immigrants are pouring in in greater numbers than ever, Trump is handing out State secrets to our enemies like Halloween treats, career spies are quitting in droves, money is being pulled from the military in million dollar chunks…

How badly have Donald and the Republicans damaged our national security?

I admit that I didn’t foresee looping the Attorney General of the United States into an international criminal conspiracy. Too silly for me to imagine. You have the AG run plausible-deniability interference for you, not hold the fucking bloody knife.

Yeah but this isn’t just any AG, this is the guy who loves holding the knife.

OT but Atrios is saying that on twitter there is evidence that the WH sent its talking points to house dems by mistake. I don’t have twitter, but is anyone seeing this?

You need to affect the Sam Elliot accent when you say that.

as in:

“Well thar ya go.”

Nice to see that knife being inserted between Barr’s own shoulder blades.
