Good for her. Itā€™s always the easy thing to just throw money at stuff. Making sure that it actually does what is intendedā€¦

Sheā€™s right, you know.

Iā€™m so proud of all these freshman Democratic women in the House. They are kicking ass without bothering to take names. Love 'em!

Didnā€™t 95 Dems vote against it?

Thatā€™s great. Instead of concentrating on beating fellow Democrats in the House, why donā€™t she and her friends work on beating 10 or so Republican Senators so maybe they can do more than just set their hair on fire when trying to correct serious problems?

ā€œOn June 25, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi brought the Senate-approved bill to a vote in the House. Tlaib, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) were the only Democrats who voted against the bill.ā€

BS the Dems house voted 129 for and 95 against.

Yes they did and Pelosi targeted just the 4 of them claiming they were the only ones opposing the Bill.

It seems TPM Took the bait.

Waiting to see Tlaibā€™s bill that does not throw money but does solve the problem.

Waiting for Pelosi to defend her position that just 4 Dems opposed the bill.

What I saw in the article was a serious and well reasoned response to why they voted against the bill.

Your accusation of them ā€œsetting their hair on fireā€? Iā€™d expect unfounded sensationalism like this from fox.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib: More money is not going to fix this.

DAMN straightā€¦ Impeach All the Mother Fuckers.

Why are you attributing the error in TPMā€™s post to Pelosi?

Is there any source out there that claims any such thing?

And averts a government shut down.

One of many reports I have read over the last few days.

Seems like TPM needs to do a better job fact-checking their own articles.

That Pelosi criticized those who chose to vote this way is one thing, saying Pelosi claimed it was only those four is another.

"But they didnā€™t have any following. Theyā€™re four people and thatā€™s how many votes they got.ā€

Hell, even the border officials say theyā€™ve got plenty of money, they just donā€™t have the capabilities to address the issue. Funding is not the problem. Unfilled administrative positions and an Executive Branch unwilling to say ā€˜Mr. President, we canā€™t keep doing thisā€™ are the problems.

And nothing the House does short of impeachment will fix that.

Iā€™m not anti-union, but I wonder how Border Patrol members of National Border Control Council with Trump ally Brandon Judd as president hurting or helping the situation? I think Brandon needs to come to Hill be asked some questions.
