Dishonorable Wolf, as opposed to Honorable Wolf

Semi OT

OANN is trying to cover up its past relationship with Andrii Derkach, an active Russian agent involved in Moscow's anti-Biden meddling. OANN gave him tons of free airtime and promoted his wacko conspiracy theories. https://t.co/uX5ypkIthn

It’s just too bad that Congress is a subordinate branch of government with no power to do anything the Executive doesn’t want it to do. Such as sending out the fucking Sergeant-at-Arms to take the motherfuckers into custody, or otherwise basically fighting constitutional crises like they fucking matter.

I’ve heard Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tennessee) doesn’t even bother to bring his chicken statue and a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken to hearings anymore.

I hate deification, because God, heroes or gods sometimes disappoint their fanbase (perfect), but c’mon now.

Yup. OANN scrubbed their website of past articles dealing with Derkach, except one.

Heh. Just noticed @OANN deleted all Derkach tagged stories from its site, including a Reuters story on the Ukrainian MP and US-labeled “active Russian agent” being sanctioned for election interference. But — oops! — it didn’t delete one misspelled with “Derkash,” which remains.

Whats even the point of a subpoena anymore.

Hear! Hear! Until they actually enforce the subpoenas this charade will continue. Why they continue this clown show baffles me. The time to put up or shut up is long past. It drives me crazy. Drag them in front of the committees already.

Asshole. They should send the Sargent at Arms to go get him. Handcuffs would be a nice touch, especially if they are pink.

If you can’t get the Republican Senate to do their job, don’t expect anyone down the line to do theirs either.

This story is about a House committee, not the Senate.

Word.

Was Cuccinelli invited to testify, nope, then shut the fuck up.

It’s so they can open negotiations on whether the recipient will ever appear before Congress, and under what conditions, followed by a three-year journey through the courts that will ultimately be rendered moot by the passage of time and the expiration of any applicable statutes of limitations.

“I can’t testify before Congress, because my nomination is pending … before Congress.”

Wow, we’ve actually found an excuse that is even more egregiously phoney than “my tax returns are under audit”.

It is a TV Series, “The Untochables”

You can’t run a country like America is this shit flies. If you can stiff a subpoena there is no way for the law to work. This being done by the law and order folks. They accuse ANTIFA of being anarchists but themselves shit on the foundations of government.

I expect more of this.
