There Is an Information Blackout at Florida’s ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ Migrant Detention Camp

Public records related to Florida’s so-called “Alligator Alcatraz” migrant detention camp have essentially disappeared into what one expert called a “black hole.” Over 90 pages of contracts reviewed by TPM were removed from an online transparency database operated by the state; in other cases, public records requests have been met with what an academic called…

The only valid trade secret in the history of the world is the formula for Coca-Cola. Every other assertion of trade secret is bullshit made up for the sake of suppressing competition and trying to hide information that otherwise needs to be disclosed.

It’s a fucking concentration camp.

If you ask too many questions, well, “Welcome to Alligator Alcatraz! We hope you enjoy your stay. If you don’t, no one will find out, so…”

In short, don’t ask.

This is just so typically stupid ! DeSantis wanted to strut and preen and was publicizing “ Alligator Alcatraz “ 24/7 until he realized that boasting about constructing an obvious concentration camp is not such a hot idea. So now he’s trying to cover it up like a cat who’s crapped on a linoleum floor. But…. In today’s Amerikka he may get away with it

People always try to hide illegal activities and inhuman treatment.

Thus, we should push “Alligator Auschwitz” rather than the cutesy little logo’d name they’ve got the news media using. If you control the language, you can do a lot towards controlling thought.

Dem reps say we shouldn’t do that. I think they’re right, simply because the alliteration itself has a softening effect. Dems should call it a concentration camp.

11, not 7. And it does not provide a competitive advantage. It’s been duplicated repeatedly. The secret recipe is purely marketing.

450 million for a year’s worth of maintenance.

For a cyclone fenced tent city.

The money rolled right in.

So what? You can always remind your “Dem rep” who they work for, and who elected them. And that you will only vote for candidates who will stand up and fight. That’s how it works.

There’s allegations of constitutional violations, due process violations. It just goes on and on and on,” Petersen said. “And that he is trying to hide this kind of information? It is unconscionable. I don’t know how the man sleeps at night. I really don’t.”

DeSantis has no conscience, so he sleeps like a baby. Same situation with Greg Abbott and Donald Trump. They make up this country’s own axis of evil.

And, tied to that, brand loyalty. Coke nearly always loses blind taste tests to Pepsi, even with people who say they prefer Coke. It’s only when they know which brand is which that they choose Coke. And I say that as a loyal Coke drinker.

No man Pepsi sucks.

Hey, I always ask for Coke over Pepsi, but I can’t argue with the data.

BTW, I have started to develop a real preference for Cherry Coke. Goes really nicely with bourbon…

There’s a solution for a lot of what has gone wrong in this country.

Real consequences for wrong doing.

John Oliver has a story about Corporate malfeasance and Deferred Prosecution Agreements that keeps the employees of the corporations like Arthur Anderson from paying the price for corp wrongdoing.

So the Corp pays a fine, nobody pays a price, and there’s no consequences for exploding Pinto’s. Or GM vehicles.

Boards and Upper Management need to go to prison for long periods of time and not at Club Med facilities. Not for everything they do wrong, but for when they are part and parcel of a criminal enterprise, like enron, like Boeing

And that goes for this story. DeSantis is violating so many laws, he’s in charge of the Concentration camp, it’s his dictates, his coverup, his abuse of the tax payers of Florida, losing his job should be the least of his problems.

You suck, I used to prefer Pepsi, still drink it if offered. But now what I like better is this:

And there are various versions. What I’ve learned is that I like the carbonation, so its the lemonade and lemon/limeade versions that I drink.
