Cars? No.
Supercharger network? It’s leagues beyond anyone else.
Tesla is a EPA credit-selling machine with an excellent EV charging network.

Snowballs in hell come to mind . . .
Musk very much wants to keep his government contracts and supercharge his relationship with Putin. Plenty of reasons to cement a puppet relationship.
Until Twitter, he has partnered with intelligent people who can design and build things. All he brought was money and a feel for the “next thing”. Twitter should be an example of what happens when there are no grownups in the room.
Sure, but is that a “self-executing” passage in the Constitution, or does Congress have to pass legislation to make it enforcible? I’m sure our Calvinball SCOTUS will surprise you.
How would a half billion dollar bequest to Trump be treated by the IRS? Is that income he has to pay a tax on? If Musk and Trump formalized the transaction as a loan, which Musk later forgave, is that also income, with taxes due? Could Musk say it was a loan, with the full repayment amount due on a balloon payment in 150 years, interest free?
Formula One started its slide downhill with the awful Bernie Ecclestone running the show, and it really hit the skids when it expanded its venues to the Persian Gulf, Azerbaijan, Russia, and China. Now it’s as corrupt and oligarch-friendly as FIFA.
The same conclusions apply to most professional sports. Billionaires using millionaires as gladiators, which drives up the prices so that only the rich and the coat-holders of the rich can attend. All of this inevitably leads to corruption, as we see here in Northern Virginia with with owner Ted Leonsis and Governor Glenn Youngkin trying to extort a billion dollars out of Virginia taxpayers to build a venue that 90% of Alexandrians don’t want. And when you add the phenomenon of sports gambling, it really gets thuggish.
Plus, how can you possibly write about Formula One without a reference to Eurotrash?
I mean, I know they’re Republics and all, but how can they be so stupid?
This is the most salient question with the greatest bearing on the continuance of the American experiment in democracy. I hope my fellow Americans- all of them- realize that allowing Musk to buy Trump and then electing the orange foolius president again will usher in an age of authoritarian oligarchy. If we want to continue to be free and to advance governance of the people, by the people then there is no other choice in the 2024 election that to vote MAGA out of a viable existence.
We can only hope that they’ll be that stupid. No better way to watch the GOP lose the House than by shutting down the government right before the election.
A cesspit of crime, just like the cities the exchanges are located in.
Only Donald can fix it!
That’s because no one else has tried.
Remember the faux outrage and passing of the smelling salts among those in the media. “Why is Obama chastising the justices at the SOTU?” “It’s so unpresidential”.
“Yes Cokie!”
I’m thinking Nikki can be had.
Haley: It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him… This is now his time for choosing.

Yeah, well, Kern County doesn’t have Senator.
And when did the team change its name to The Train Robbers?
Maybe he wants to buy Truth Social.
Worked great for DeSantis.
A donation to one of his charities “friends of Mar a Lago”? Funneled into the RNC? As they say money is fungible.
Again.
The problem is, most of what we knew either doesn’t work or doesn’t apply in the FOX/MAGA era. There’s huuuuge money and power behind their movement and they’ve got a formula that captures enough folks to embed it deep. While there’s always been a rabid fringe, we’ve never seen them have this kind of success in our lifetimes.
