Like all the beautiful places in our country once you eliminate the people it’s paradise. If you like the beach the beach on Santa Rosa Island Fort Pickens in the Gulf is heavenly. Federal area so not very crowded. The quiet countryside we live in in Alabama is peaceful, serene. The so-called wild life graciously shares the fresh air with us. ( I do object to their eating my peaches before I can pick them though!). My point is that its people that make places awful. And, unfortunately, they’ve stained the forests, parks, country, mountains, beaches to the point that some hope the next hurricane wipes out a portion of the earth or climate change floods it out of existence. It’s one of those days…have opened The Glenlivit and joining the early drinkers.
