The acceleration of the Republican party towards outright racism is really surprising…the few things said like this in the past decade were still grounds for them to get into trouble with the public, and with the party. Trump definitely changed that, pretty much singlehandedly he’s given right wingers space to be as racist as they want to be. Look back at the reaction to Charlottesville, how aghast people (including conservatives) were at the sight of that openly racist event, and compare it to the reactions we’re seeing now.
And, it’s actually gotten worse after Trump left office, which is really the sign that Trump still holds sway over the GOP. Maybe it’s a good thing they are going down this road, hopefully enough Americans reject this stiff and Republicans are forced to eject it from their party platform. I doubt it will be so easy though.
Are “legacy Americans” like the legacy admits to the Ivy league? You know, the Kushners, Bushes, et al.? Cause I didn’t think this country was a dynastic kind of thing with all its crazy royalty and disappointing children. My bad I guess.

And things like PAC ads, etc. Right now, there’s a lot of Big Pharma crap with “we paid granny to pretend that negotiating Medicare drug prices means the gov’t is going to tell her what medications she can and can’t have, no matter what her doctors say, so she’ll die by death panel to save money.”
Faux News is pretty literally becoming just 24/7 propaganda, even the advertising, and a creature almost entirely supported by the PACs and political donor class that wants to buy advertising time to deliberately disinform the angry imbecile target audience.
I’ve got Dish down to ~$40 a month for 2 years for their top tier package they screwed up so many times and offered me discounts for the trouble. Stuck a Channel master … I’ve 63 Channels of crap for free. (no lie the digital reception is miles better than the 4 analog I could get before on a hill) I’ve really no reason to keep them past the contract date. And will bail… unless they offer another really steep discount.
Nope. Haven’t had anything in many years. I watch movies, of course, and I see clips of interesting shows on YouTube, but sitting on a couch and watching shows that come on at 8 p.m. on Tuesday or whatever is a thing of a pretty distant past. Don’t miss it a bit. There are plenty of others ways to waste time.
