And, strangely, one they apparently picked for their own.
To me, the attendant horrors of that disease make this smack of collective masochism.
You know, wearing a mask so you don’t succumb to Covid would really help your numbers. Just sayin’
Here’s some really “Great Replacements”
Powell replaced by this dog
… Idiot Pillow Man replaced by actual Pillow
Carlson replaced by Mr. Potato Head
Let’s not help them improve their representatives.
Nah, it’s balanced by the hatred so all is well.
We’ve always wanted to keep the Irish out. We’ve always wanted to keep the Italians out. We’ve always wanted to keep the Poles out. We’ve always etc etc etc.
ETA. I see @maximus beat me to it.
When we go to the farm next year, I’m looking at streaming. Otherwise, I’m locked in to whatever daughter and son in law have and that limits me for DVR. I’ll just have my own.
It takes at least five years to citizenship. And that’s very fast track.
Never had cable / satellite, never will.
PBS and Roku do just fine.

You can access all the same stuff using the internet. It’s not the delivery vehicle, it’s that they promote the agit prop for profit.

Pretty much the only reason I keep Dish is for time shifting. I can record 16 channels of crap at the same time and watch it at whatever pace I like. I can’t remember the last time I sat and watched something for more than a half hour straight.
Tucker is using the old GQP standby: When the truth just won’t do, lie.
If you like art and indie films check out the Criterion Channel. I subscribe to that and get unlimited views of all kinds of cool stuff. And obviously there’s iTunes too where you pay by the viewing for lots of mainstream stuff. There are so many options today and that cable is just ruinously expensive and I’ve been to my sister’s house plenty of nights when there was nothing much on any of us were interested in.

How elitist can you get?
Frozen dinners?
"as many people as they can who know nothing of American history, nothing of American tradition, nothing of the rule of law.”
That would be all the dumbfucking Trumper white morons who slept through 12 years of public school. There is no nation whose citizens know less of their national history, traditions and laws than the United States, thanks to the last 70 years of “edumacation reform” that has created the confederacy of dunces.

There’s a willful intent to whitewash history.
Rep. Matt Gaetz called the Anti-Defamation League “racist” after it again called on Fox News host Tucker Carlson to be fired for promoting the white supremacist “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory.
Gaetz, the Republican congressman from Florida, also endorsed the conspiracy theory. …
“@TuckerCarlson is CORRECT about Replacement Theory as he explains what is happening to America,” Gaetz wrote. “The ADL is a racist organization.”
In the tweet, Gaetz did not elaborate on why he considers the ADL racist.
Gaetz’s tweet about the ADL comes about two weeks after Josh Mandel, a Jewish Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio, called Greenblatt a “kapo,” a term denoting Jews who were coerced into working with the Nazis during the Holocaust.
It’s ironic that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is using the racist term the “Great replacement theory” and criticized the Anti defamation league when the ADL was created after the lynching of Leo Frank in Marietta, Georgia which he represented in the house. I’m sure he’s aware of this history and must have been at events commentating it but that must have bypassed his memory hole.
It’s coming
Cable: A thousand channels of expensive high definition wide screen neutered overcooked oatmeal. It’s hard to believe that people pay to have commercials piped into their homes.
