The Racist ‘Great Replacement’ Conspiracy Theory Is Becoming A Mainstream GOP Talking Point | Talking Points Memo

“The great replacement,” Carlson said. “The replacement of legacy Americans with more obedient people from far-away countries.”

“Legacy Americans”

(Narragansett, Pequot, and Wampanoag: “ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???!!!”)

Oh, The Camp of the Saints has been kicking around on Faux News for quite some time and this certainly wasn’t the first time Exalted Cyclops Carlson pushed it…

This is the biggest reason why their widespread violence is not going to be avoidable.

Isn’t that what they said about the Irish? The Italians? The Chinese? Any other non-WASP immigrants?

Your right about Gaetz but I guess because he’s mentioned in the article.

As Carlson faced a wave of criticism for the comments, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) reiterated the point on his behalf, writing Monday that Democrats “are importing new voters.”

Last month, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said “the anti-American left would love to drown traditional classic Americans with as many people as they can who know nothing of American history, nothing of American tradition, nothing of the rule of law.”

Well we have a shit load of born and bred here that don’t know American history, and rule of law. As for tradition, well each generation creates, modifies, or buries previous traditions because they’re out of date, don’t work with current lifestyles, and they can be fucking racist and misogynistic.

I realize that the Founding Fathers were male, wealthy and traditional in their views of womanhood, but they also inspired us to aspire for better than what we had. For the love of irony the Republicans keep demanding that we make school kids pledge allegiance which contain “with Liberty and Justice for All”.

Besides not knowing American history Fucker Tucker knows nothing about European history, or all the way back to when we migrated out of Africa.

Truth be told, isn’t Covid-45 the true GQP Great Replacement?

All too true, but have to wonder how many Rethuglicans realize that “great replacement” is a NAZI meme straight out of Hitler’s Third Reich meme.

According to the ADL (Anti-Defanation League):

The “great replacement” philosophy was quickly [adopted and promoted by the white supremacist movement as it fit into their conspiracy theory about the impending destruction of the white race, also know as “white genocide.” It is also a strong echo of the white supremacist rallying cry, “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.

Since many white supremacists, particularly those in the United States, blame Jews for non-white immigration to the U.S. the replacement theory is now associated with antisemitism.

So this is now the face of the GQP? Heil Hitler! (sic) Heil Trump (even sicker)

Someone with money like Bloomberg should buy up a billboard in Times Square right where the Faux News offices are (they’re in Times Square, right?) and plaster it with a giant billboard of KKKarlson’s face with the simple word “RACIST” or “WHITE SUPREMACIST”…all just totally giant and inescapable…right under it and then make sure we get some advance notice so we don’t miss any of the howling.

Also, is there just nobody left to boycott for advertising during his show? There must be…and we need to get on it.

I have said that the Republican Party is the party of racism for a very long time. I’m glad they have finally confirmed that Republican are immoral, unethical, lying racist. To paraphrase Trumpy, the only good Republican is a dead Republican. Make that a stone cold dead Republican.

And once you accuse them of it, they successfully turn it around and accuse you of being a racist.

Messaging, folks. It’s the only thing that matters anymore because truth has absolutely no residence in the public discourse.

And he doesn’t need to. Education is elitist and must be destroyed. The only thing that matters is feelings. Facts have no place in this.

That reminds me of the most ‘Republican’ Prime Minister we ever had, Stephen Harper, leader of the Conservative Party. He was one massive sob. Before politics he was involved with white nationalists in Alberta. When in power one of his favourite types of people were ‘old stock Canadians’ but he wasn’t including the indigenous nations for some reason.

I suppose this was inevitable. They’re a party with one plank in their platform: white revanchism. That’s it. That’s the only consistent thing, because that’s who’s voting for them.

No.
They’re in the Rockefeller Center complex (from the 70s) at 48th and 6th Avenue across the street from the original Rockefeller Center where NBC and Simon & Schuster are.
There’s no real place you can put up a billboard on any of those buildings except if you count the Fox News building itself (well maybe down the street on the east side of 6th, around 47th there is a spot but not really Times Square size—my memory is a little hazy on the exact way the storefronts are set up there).
Close to Times Square but 6th Avenue doesn’t really count as Times Square.
Back when I was still working at an office instead of from home my workplace was right in the area, still is actually but I haven’t been in the office except once in the past year and a half.
I used to have to see their newsfeed every morning on the ticker.
I don’t miss that.

Boycott your cable company. Call them up and tell them you don’t want to pay for Faux Noise, Newsmax or OANN anymore.

They’re all part of basic cable as well as the basics for streaming services. They don’t have to rely on advertisers. You and I are paying for them, unless you’ve completely unplugged or on an antenna.

It’s a pretty sweet deal they’ve got.

I’d look but my stomach isn’t that strong to watch his program to see who his advertisers are. I mean I get quite a few local ads during Rachel, and some questionable ones, but she does still have major advertisers running ads during her show.
Tucker has to be left with only the MyPillow folks, right?

While Gaetz, just wants to “date” them.

I never had it in the first place. Take that, cable companies! Mwahahahaha!

Well Tucker is grad of Trinity College, second oldest college in CT. And went to boarding schools before that. How elitist can you get?

There’s no cable within 20 miles of me… but Dish carries a lot of ReichWing scheisse channels and I’ve sent them a few emails asking why they are aiding and abetting insurrection. No answer.
