The report would be a nice dessert after the sentencing.

I think someone needs to release the report anyway, even if SCOTUS decides to stick their nose in it to protect their golden calf.

Looking at the assemblage as the casket passes, there’s no hand over Trump’s left chest because he has no heart . . . .

Someone’s gonna have to unroll that thread about poor and rich neighborhoods, because I cut my Twitter sub and all I can see is that initial tweet.

I’m sure whatever it says won’t surprise me.

It can be done. Alito would know how to do it.
Or, rather, one of his clerks would.

I agree. Much like the San Dia Report on Education, which was published largely through copy machine. (This is the report that was nixed in favor of A Nation at Risk.)
The assumption is always that the left is bound by the rule of law, while the right is…not so much.

OMFG just give the report to President Biden. Let the President release the full unredacted report personally, so that his immunity is automatic. Live your next four years without having to worry about keeping a circle of personal attorneys on semi-retainer.

Trump’s hand must be on his weenie thinking of Stormy.

I noticed the same thing about Trump’s hand and the implied lack of respect. I thought about all of the articulate and heartfelt tributes to Jimmy Carter and couldn’t imagine Trump being able to attempt to conceive of honoring another human being in that way.

If there’s anyone better to tell this story, I don’t know who they are. /s

The gist of thread was that because insurance payouts were limited in many instances, poorer neighborhoods were able to actually rebuild faster than the rich neighborhoods.
some quotes
The homes in Fountaingrove, meanwhile, were on steep slopes, like in parts of Malibu, and rebuilding them was an engineering nightmare. They were huge, multi-story, many had been custom built, so getting the permits was a nightmare. A lot of wealthy homeowners just gave up.

  • The second reason was insurance. Most homeowners across Santa Rosa were under-covered, and many in the hills had the FAIR plan—the typical payout was something like $300-400k. That was enough to rebuild in Coffey Park, but not enough to rebuild in Fountaingrove.*

A sequel? Possibly the second coming? What the actual?

The Race Is On To Release Jack Smith’s Report

(yawn)

a snowstorm on the 20th would be a nice momentary satisfaction. Jack Smith’s report not so much. From the Mueller Report to the Smith Report, from righteous indignation to elder abuse. This trend line … maybe I have it upside down? Ahhh … nope.

I think a release would be more useful if the MM would then report on it.

I am extraordinarily cynical on that one given there would be more value in using the report as collateral (bribery) of DJT by, (and for), one of the oligarch owners of the MM.

Absolutely! The rules of the game have changed completely, to the extent there still are any. It’s imperative that Jack Smith’s report be released in any event regardless. That’s exactly what already would have happened were the situation reversed. Time to fight back unapologetically.

Note that only 1 person doesn’t have his hand over his heart in the photo of ex-presidents.

You get one guess which one.
