The Mystery Of Guo Wengui | Talking Points Memo

It’s even hard to pin down his name.

And yet, self-proclaimed Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui has inserted himself into GOP politics, reportedly dodging a Chinese extradition request thanks to a Mar-a-Lago membership. And most recently, in a whiplash-inducing turn of events, Guo is now facing down allegations of being a spy for the same government that has demanded his extradition

Strategic Vision is run by French Wallop,

Say what?

What a convoluted piece of infamy this is. All we need now is to find out that Erik Prince is involved.

Hell, I was just googling to check up on the Epstein connection. I’m sure it’ll show up.

ETA: I mean, there’s already Roger Stone in the backstory…

Looks like a Mar a Lago membership is a get out of jail free card. And boy there sure are a lot of Chinese nationals who hang out there.

Well, Roger’s okay, I guess, but I ain’t gonna be satisfied until Erik makes a cameo at least.

What Is Guanxi?

Guanxi (pronounced gwon-she ) is a Chinese term meaning “networks” or “connections” that open doors for new business and facilitate deals. A person who has a lot of guanxi will be in a better position to generate business than someone who lacks it.

Generally an acknowledged fact, it is particularly true in China that the wheels of business are lubricated with guanxi.

In the view of many, not just the Chinese, Mar-A-Lago is where you go for a lube job.

A 4.7 yesterday. This could go on for years, we have a hot magma flow running just under the crust. It’s a geophysical issue. On the good side, Caltech has lowered the probability of a really big one over the next month to about .3%.

Cheezus. We really can’t make up anything as bizarre as whatever passes for normal with that bunch.

You said that your elderly mother went to Colorado but are your nerves holding up?

Thank you. I always thought the “H” was for Henry. Horatio seems more fitting.
