Add that there are no reports of his family being subject to arrest or detention and you arrive at the obvious conclusion. Via Occam’s Razor, that he is a Chinese agent working a cover is the simplest, most obvious conclusion.
Shit, in Trump’s America you don’t even have to try and establish plausible cover. Just get to the U.S. and start spouting whatever ill-advised, undiplomatic, hate-of-the-day nonsense is emanating from the White House and you’re immediately accepted into the inner circle. I was close to having some level of sympathy for this guy because of his efforts against the Communist Party in China, but after reading the background on this guy, nope. No sympathy. For the sake of his family, i suggest we send him back immediately, along with Steve Bannon as his escort, just to make sure he gets there safely.
