Hey, they’ve offered “humanitarian corridors” to Russia for any civilian who wants to either spend their days in Siberia or as a hostage next to a nuclear missile silo, so clearly anyone left in Ukraine itself is an enemy combatant.

The words “humanitarian” and “Russia” do not belong in the same paragraph let alone the same sentence. They have shown their “humanitarianism”. Even today they lied saying they were not bombing civilians and saying it was the Ukrainians doing it. These people are war criminals.

Major General Vitaliy Gerassmiov was in command of the combined operations for the sector including Kharkiv, where indiscriminate bombing of civilian targets was already well underway. His death and those of the many subordinate officers who died with him, will save The Hague a number of docket numbers.
It will also spell chaos to the sector that was supposed to help “liberate” Luhansk Oblast from the “Nazi” preventing good Russian separatists from sharing their idea of liberty over the rest of the region.
This guy’s death won’t trigger what is already a well worn Russian strategy (see Mariupol), but it will certainly stymie Russian strategy very close to home. This is a big, big deal for that part of the theatre.
