Beyond that, they cannot speculate, contemplate, nor derivate.
I expect noise from Fox and Senator Rafael Cruz, because they don’t know the difference between natural gas and gasoline.

This is such fine dark humor. It is the stuff that allowed for some decompression during my medical school clinical years and internship. Comments that would have been non-PC or misunderstood outside of the hospital could make us lol and break the tension of our 12 hour shifts.

Well, ‘randome’, when pronounced with two syllables, instead of three, has a very different meaning from what I intended. RAN-dohm (with two syllables) has an unsavory connotation. But ‘RAN-doh-may’ (how I prefer) is less controversial. Check out the urban dictionary for details!

I think the Senator for Cancun generally knows better - i.e., he deliberately distorts and misrepresents, because he learned that when debating. He is not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.
Most of the Fox morons are doing as they’re told - reading what they’re given.

Oh, there are smart crooks in the GQP, not necessarily exponentially smarter than tRump, but with the current base and republican-only voters, you don’t have to be real smart. While I don’t read much of anything right of center, I haven’t read or seen much of Hawley or Cotton in the news. Cruz can’t help himself by trying to make headlines and just generally being a pos; and Little Marco pops up from time to time. For my $$, I am very suspicious that Cotton or Hawley are laying low and waiting for tRump to implode or be indicted with an iron-clad case against him. Then, those two smart guys will try to be the better authoritarian leader of the GQP. I believe that they each desperately want to be POTUS and each is capable of destroying our democracy.

I hope Paul is not implying this a recent thing. The right has been trying to end public education since its inception. They are not more stupid IMO. There’s just more of them with access to the web and the feedback echo around and around and around.

Could it be that Moscow Mitch (MM) wanted the bipartisan independent commission to die so that a Dem appointed select committee could investigate the Jan 6 insurrection without tRump interfering via his repig surrogates on the commission blocking any pathway to the truth? Does MM believe that voter suppression and gerrymandering will help the GOP in the House and voter suppression help in the Senate come 2022, regardless of what comes out of the investigation? So he and his GQP klan can bitch & moan to a media that loves conflict that the committee is political and not truthful. Does MM believe that Fox News and RW media will shield their base and other low information voters from the truth?
Does MM already know he will have Putin’s disinformation forces at work in 2022/2024? Perhaps MM wants tRump to be royally screwed by the committee so that he is out of MM’s way and trump toxicity is diminished. A few Q congress critters might be collateral damage, too, but their districts are likely to stay red. MM might be old but he is still an evil political player. Speculation, natch. Until MM is 6 feet under, don’t count him out
