The Gradual Release Of Jan. 6 Footage Has The Far Right Raging At House Republicans And Speaker Mike Johnson - TPM – Talking Points Memo

The MAGAs are promoting contradictory narratives about J6. On one hand the guys who are imprisoned for breaking into the Capitol building and beating up cops are heroes who Trump said he would pardon. On the other the insurrectionists are dupes who were suckered into entering the Capitol by Antifa and Feds such as Ray Epps. The MAGAs should pick a story and stick to it.

Owning the cons. Love it. :smiling_imp:

Johnson must have seen the tapes. He sure doesn’t want the base to see them. The tapes with the general crowd hanging around, you know, doing nothing will be released first.

Will they blur Josh Halsey’s face
as he runs inside the Capitol? How
about his closed fist salute before
entering the people’s house, to cast
a phony baloney vote against Joe
Biden?

Does Mike Johnson understand that
the DOJ has 44,000+ hours of un-edited
video of the J6 Insurrection? That lots
of this video is all over the internet and
people are still calling the FBI hot line
with tips?

I believe the first footage they released the faces hadn’t been blurred out. It wasn’t until after that first release did anyone on the Republican side of the aisle get concerned about the rioter’s Ids.
I mean really it’s evidence of someone, especially a lawyer guy with a gavel, not thinking this through.

Why so sad? I imagine it takes a long time to blur the faces and identifying clothing of those poor innocent tourists parading around the simulated war-games between antifa gangs clad in Maga gear and those disguised as police.

It’s especially tricky blotting out those tourists who were busy smearing their shit all over the galley walls.

All in good time, little fascists. All in good time.

I am glad you brought this up, but want to make sure your identification is correct: Josh Hawley, coward and dishonest, prevaricating, unethical, grifting, phony politician: for one:

MAGAsses are fickle, foolish cretins. They will eat their own and are loyal to only one Cretin-in-Chief, no matter how criminal, boorish, and bloviatingly hypocritical DJT can be.

Um, the Seditionists are nuts. But, Officer you can’t convict me of speeding on the basis of that body cam record. Look at all these other tapes when I wasn’t speeding.

How did this country get to where completely insane people can exert this much influence on the Speaker of the House of Representatives? Where did we go wrong?

I always liked the additional lyrics that Simon wrote and included in later performances:

Now the years are rolling by me
They are rocking evenly
I am older than I once was
I am younger than I’ll be

That’s not unusual
Nor is it strange
After changes upon changes
We are more or less the same.

‘We have to get over it’: Trump responds to Iowa school shooting during speech - Raw Story

It’s a very terrible thing that happened and it’s just horrible to see that happening. That’s just horrible. So surprising to see it here. But we have to get over it, we have to move forward,

I think what Dear Leader is saying is that tragedy that this may be, what’s crucial is saving his own skin
and if it is necessary to burn down the world to accomplish this, then so be it.
Now who can argue with that?
