The tendency to use propriety as a mantra is what’s killing many of the advances the Dems could be making. Have to wonder what’s happened to the legal profession if there isn’t a qualified Dem lawyer to manage any of the roles mentioned (e.g., not just any of the SC’s but even as head of the FBI).
These aren’t my suggestions - they came from David’s article. So don’t go crawling down my throat - I’m merely responding to his observations.

In fact, the fear of the number 13 has its own medical name: paraskevidekatriaphobia; similarly, the intense and irrational fear of the number 13 is known as triskaidekaphobia.

Rosenstein was just as responsible as Barr for the straightjacketing of Mueller’s investigation. Remember “land the plane.” And this guy was the go-between in that and was rewarded for it by Trump with a US attorney position? Be concerned. Trump is right that there is a deep state, but wrong about which side it’s on.
That’s actually a rational fear.

The GQP has always been about projection - they readily accuse the Left and Center of all the things the Right is actually doing.
The sad part is how successful they are at making it stick.
Aren’t we overlooking Devin “Moo-man” Nunes? Ruminate on that.
One can hope that Robert Hur will run a legitimate investigation. On the other hand it is already demonstrated that Republican special counsels can behave like partisan hacks determined to harm Democrats. The two recent examples are Ken Starr and John Durham. Durham lost badly in court with a ridiculous indictment designed to discredit the Mueller probe of Russia interference in the 2016 election on behalf of Trump.
