Steve Bannon Released From Prison

No surprise there. Unfortunately, Bannon was left with a whole lot of time to work his devil’s magic and he’s out just in time to throw one more wrench into the system.

I’m sure he was in no way rehabilitated.

Good morning everyone. Only a week to go to GOTV!!

BTW, in a normal world, say ten years ago, any one of these headlines would be traffic stopping “no way!!!” kind of news and now I and everyone here have bingo cards with increasingly ridiculous things on them. Just trying to follow the rolling dumpster fire covered in swastikas rushing towards the ramp. Just hoping it crashes at the end and doesn’t somehow make the jump to the White House. I’ve long ago started to lose my taste for popcorn.

Donald J Trump is not, in fact, the opposite of a NAZI. He’s just another fascist piece of trash like all the rest.

He’s also out in time to do more damage to Trump 2024 than the MSG rally did too.

These Republicans have got a lot of damned gall to call Democratic candidates “radical.”

I think it’s helpful in countering the Big Lie 2.0 that Republicans are now confirming (even if just for strategic reasons) that their ground game is weak. Edblog.

The sentence of 12 months and a day means he’s eligible for early release for good behavior. Federal criminal sentences of 12 months or less must be served in full. So this Bob’s Burgers insurrectionist asshole will be out after less than 10 months in prison.

A National Park Service spokesman says the Harris campaign has amended its permit application to accommodate more than 40,000 people for the VP’s “closing argument” speech on the Ellipse tonight. The ask last week was for around 20,000 people. (h/t)
