Hello there. We’re back after a week away. Administration Explains to Court How It Has Weaponized Federalism It’s becoming a cliche, but this administration has the kind of scandal that took up years of the Nixon administration on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis. The latest emerges in a New York Times article flagging a court…
Under a working administration this would be the kind of thing admitted by a defendant in a criminal probe, not professed as a good thing.
“came to believe a lot of untrue things about ________.”
Fill in the blank with your favorite social-media driven bias.
Are We at War?
Yes, and according to a report in Axios, top military advisors believe our bombing campaign around the Straight of Hormuz “has reached the limit of its effectiveness”
At first I expected this to speak to the war being waged inside the United States of America.
We are united aren’t we?
Yes, it brings to mind Elon proudly announcing, “feeding USAID to the woodchipper” (and later insisting he had no idea people would die as a result) :
Back in October 2025, Vought heavily insinuated what was going on with this specific funding by tweeting “$8 billion in Green New Scam funding to fuel the Left’s climate agenda is being cancelled…”
Like, what, they expected to be feted for pissing on Congress and violating the law of the land?
It certainly seems to offer a lot of fodder for establishing ‘state of mind.’
So what is next? Keep in mind it has to be something that will affect all of the world, not just Iran.
But then the AP reports: The United States and Iran paused their attacks for a second straight day Sunday, as efforts continued to bring them back to negotiations on an interim ceasefire deal largely undermined by recent exchanges of fire.
I bet it is not reaching the limits of effectiveness, it is however the fact that they ran out of missiles and interceptors.
Musk has always been and will always be a con man. Remember back when he claimed his boring company would be tunneling all over the US and hyperloops would be the biggest thing ever? I knew at the time that both were not possible due to land subsidence. Now he claims his Optimus robots will be the the biggest thing ever. Not likely.
Russians are smarter that Laura Loomer. That means liberals are too.
Vote the Democratic ticket.
Yeah, Elon is a dubious self-promoter.
More than that, though, all of these people (e.g., Donnie bragging about how much money he made from selling Venezuelan oil) seem to lack an honest connection to what other people might think of what they’re doing.
By any definition, Russ Vought is evil, carrying out the evil intentions of this administration.
To finally win this war, we need to follow Randy Newman’s advice:
“Let’s drop the big one and see what happens”
Remember when Biden’s FEMA fired a worker for telling others to avoid homes with Trump banners…and it was still a national scandal?

How’s about whoever kept us fighting in a wet tropical climate for all those years and didn’t procure helicopters with he kinds of filters needed to operate in the desert?
Russel Vought is one of the most dangerous men in America. He was very much at the center of the design of Project 2025 and the Trump administration’s efforts to implement Project 2025. He is very angry about something and intent on tearing down our Democracy. If ever a single American were a threat to our country, it would be this man.
Absolutely. I sensed this from the first photo of him I saw. At the time I compared him to Frank Gaffney, but Gaffney’s fanaticism is small potatoes in comparison.
And he cloaks his bullshit in religion. As you have oft quoted:
C.S. Lewis — ‘Of all bad men religious bad men are the worst.’
- Also unlike pre-implosion Platner, he is less of a star in our attention economy. Put another way, some Maine Democrats are worried he lacks the charisma that boosted Platner’s campaign.
I saw Jackson on TV the other night. He isn’t all that charismatic but neither is Susan Collins. Maybe charisma isn’t what we need.
Elon Musk is what happens if you take Steve Jobs and remove all humility1 and generally well-meaning intentions.
1. Yes. I know. THAT’S how arrogant Musk is.
Blaming Carter? Couldn’t possible have anything to do with the US and UK funded overthrow of Mohammad Mosaddegh. {Sarcasm}I mean would anyone be mad if a benevolent foreign power actually did come in and overthrow your legitimately elected government?{/Sarcasm} Hell, over 30% of Americans are pissed at the people who actually won an election 6 years ago. We’re holding a grudge from 46 years ago, but obviously the Iranians all suffer from short term memory loss. Only some of these politicians are that stupid, Bergman may be one but he’s getting his marching orders from actually evil people.
