The ‘Biden Aliases’: How The GOP’s Scandalmongering Inspired An Armed Protest

An armed protester who appeared outside President Biden’s Delaware home on Sunday appears to have been inspired by the efforts of congressional Republicans and other conservative groups to drum up scandal related to Hunter Biden.

The GOP won’t be happy until every non-supporter is dead.

We just had a textbook “crime family” in the Oval Office for four years. Emoluments, mob ties, shaking down foreign leaders, shady hotel deals, delayed billion dollars payments, it was in all the newspapers!

Now you have a squeaky clean career politician with less than 1% of the net worth of the head of the actual “crime family” in the Oval Office.

There are literally a hundred millions Americans who can’t puzzle their way to identifying the corrupt one.

We’re doomed.

It is absolute insanity that our lax gun laws allow armed nutcases to walk by the home of the President spouting conspiracy theories.

Until some penalty for such actions is enforced, these events will keep happening until someone is killed or injured.

The Right insists this is their due and enough corruption exists at all levels to ensure they get what they want.

It’s amazing what propaganda can get people to believe, especially if it conforms to preconceptions. It’s really a cautionary tale to be vigilant ourselves.

The irony of the conspiracy-obsessed denying the existence of an actual conspiracy as complex as any they’ve imagined in favor of trying to piece a fake one together like a 3 year-old’s craft project is comical.

I guess what I’m not understanding here is who is this knee-jerk incel looking to shoot?

At least this fine citizen was carrying something safe like a handgun rather than something seriously concerning, like sidewalk chalk. If only those people outside Susan Collins’s home last year had had the decency to carry guns instead of chalk!

Biden Forced to Respond to QAnon Video Shared by Congressman (2paragraphs.com)

The nearly two-decade old video purports to “catch” Hunter Biden using then-Senator Joe Biden ‘s influence to drum up business — the scene is narrated by Newsmax anchor Greg Kelly to push the innuendo that a subtle transaction is on view here.

Ian Sams

@IanSams46

Lol This video (posted by a QAnon adherent then shared by

@JamesComer

) is an 18 year old clip of Hunter talking to Michael Hollings, son of longtime SC Sen. Fritz Hollings, who Joe Biden served with in the Senate for over 30 years. Michael was about to run for SC Lt. Governor.

In a move showing that ignoring fringe and conspiracy theories — a traditional means of marginalizing the marginal — has become increasingly difficult in the internet age, White House spokesman for oversight and investigations and Special Assistant to the President & Senior Advisor to WH Counsel’s Office Ian Sams was compelled to respond to the video.

Sams attempts to position the allegation as a laugh, starting his defense — and giving context — with “LOL.”

But Sams wouldn’t have responded ifif he didn’t think Comer’s true believers would see exactly what Kelly tells them to see here. The Biden team, therefore, was forced to respond, a maneuver which either helps quell or dignifies the assertion.

Has anyone asked David Dennison or John Barron what they think about all this alias business? Might want to ask John Miller, too!

And when somebody does get killed it will all be the fault of BLM or a “deep state Government operative”. Furthermore, to the extent it was not BLM or the deep state Government operative, it was all peaceful inquiry.

I’m pretty sure they are keeping close tabs on him. He clearly wants to be seen. It probably makes him feel important. The ones to watch out for are undoubtedly the ones who don’t wear safety vests and open carry. This guy seems all bark, but he’s apparently okay with that if it garners him some attention.

I do want to take one issue with the story and in particular the headline “The GOP’s Scandalmongering Inspired…”

As has been said many times Trump’s did not create his base but rather his base created Donald Trump. That is while GOP and Trump rhetoric may have embolden these “deplorables” into more brazen action, 35% of Americans like it or not have always been wack jobs. More than those manipulating the wackjobs for their own benefit, it is the wackjobs themselves that are the threat and without real consequences like those given the 1/6 insurrectionists, this will not only continue but get worse with or without Trump/Republican encouragement.

The difference today is that in the past the wackjobs were more split between the Parties, today they are unified in the GOP. A unified 35% of any country let alone in a democracy like America where half the other 65% are uniformed, is real power and thereby a real threat to peace, stability and a liberal society.

That is the real danger is not Trump or the cynical politicians who pander, it is this base themselves and so long as there is no consequences to their actions, they will not only continue but continue to get more brazen until Biden’s home, be it in Delaware or in Washington DC, comes under siege.
