These are the deluded taunts of a malignant narcissist who thinks that everyone’s most prized possession is trump’s “friendship.” He obviously has no real friends. He has these crippled, conditional interactions that always end one of two ways: 1) the “other” is his BFF, in love, totally committed and loyal, or 2) he barely knows the guy, couldn’t have assaulted the woman because she’s too ugly, discounts their abilities, accomplishments and human worth. All or nothing. Because he’s a simpleton.

Didn’t even think of that, but it’s not wrong.

So we lose most of California. Half the place is permanently burning and uninhabitable, the rest is one overdue earthquake away from making Nevada oceanfront property.

This seems to have been a recurring fear. In Rage, Woodward spends a lot of ink on how Mattis was in mortal dread that the nincompoop was going to draw us into a nuclear war with North Korea. It was apparently a close call.

(It doesn’t offend me…)

Pence wasn’t whining because he was scared of FatAss, he was scared of FatAss’s cultist primary voters. He was whining because he was watching his dream of being in the Oval Office evaporate in front of his eyes. No matter what he did, it was going to be the wrong thing – and called Quayle who he was hoping would tell him a way out but who, bless his doofus head, told him the truth: there is no way out.

Who would have believed that either of these numbskulls would one day be credited with providing words of wisdom? It’s bizarro world!

That’s because Trump loves to grab women by the fetlocks.

You know, I didn’t ever envision myself saying this, but it appears that I as well as most people have underestimated Dan Quayle.

I am less surprised to find out that I overestimated Mike Pence.

And yet the Right just keeps demanding that the rest of us understand nothing was happening that required a measured response or any response. No big deal.

When will someone finally, publicly and loudly, relentlessly challenge that nonsense and make it stick with half the country?

What was it about T****, we should be daily challenging, that Milley had to call China TWICE to confirm that no attack was imminent? How is this considered a normal and calm response?

And these nincompoops want more of the same???

When do the hearings start with Milley’s testimony under congressional oath?

Hey, Trump did make the point that why bother having them if we’re not gonna use them… Can think of some great disposal sites like Pyongyang and Tehran…

I’m pleased to know he did it only because he couldn’t not. I really don’t like feeling grateful to him for doing the right thing, so I’m happy I only have to feel the tiniest bit grateful. He would have wormed out of doing it if he could have. What an f’ing coward.

And sedition must be treated as sedition. Prison time must be had.

The time to wait has passed.

Closest target to China, so the most likely place they’d hit. Throw Seattle in for good measure.

I think Bob Woodward’s too cautious (and perhaps too dull) not to be that solid.
