Looks like we’ll pick up a house seat in NM-02 where Gabe Vasquez is curreently leading the odious Yvette Herrell 52/48 with 99% of the votes counted (per ABC News). That will make NM as a 100% blue delegation House/Senate once again. Yay!
I was optimistic and nobody wanted to hear it. I’m optimistic now. It’s lonely out here.

More of a shart IMO.
That Was No Red Wave, But What Was It Exactly?
It was that sort of pseudo-wave after a big wave that sort of swells a bit but then retreats. It was enough people still sentient enough to notice that FOX was in the tank for the GOP, and separating infotainment from news. It was a lot of hard work by GOTV volunteers to counter the trolls paid by the Scaifes and Koch. I wish it was more definitive, but waking up this morning and checking the totals I felt like a prisoner who received a stay of execution just at the eleventh hour.

The job is literally to say what happened. That isn’t what happened. It really is hopeless to expect different.

Here’s a question. Do some of the (still craven) but not crazy GOP House Members smell the blood and start to maneuver against the crazies for their own sakes?
She’ll go to court over this. I don’t know if Colorado has run-offs?
I’ve been even more optimistic since the Kansas abortion vote months ago.
