Yep. Sinema has a ton of leverage and sheâs using it. We may not like it, but itâs her right. The way to rectify this is to elect more Dems to the Senate.

Iâm not a pro or anything but it seems pretty obvious to me they need to make sure the debt ceiling for already incurred spending gets raised and deal with everything else after that if thatâs what it takes even if it screws up leverage.
Not passing increased funding for infrastructure is not going to blow up the economy since it would just be a continuance of the status quo.
Or am I missing something with all the back and forth on this?
I will admit this is beginning to muddle my brain.

As Will Rogers said. âI am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat.â Seems to me that Sinema (and perhaps Manchin) are not even that; they are political opportunists who will vote for their own self interest over that of the country, the party, or even the people they supposedly represent. I expect that type of behavior from Republicans, disappointed to see it here.

I donât believe that ever happened. This is hearsay, weâre not hearing it from the medical staff.
I can easily imagine Trump telling everyone that he gritted his teeth and took it like a man to avoid having Pence briefly in command, which for Trump would be intolerable. And then actually having the anesthesia, breaking the rules as usual. Only the medical staff can verify this story and theyâre not going to, under patient confidentiality rules.

Yet another judge has called out the DOJ in court for treating the 1/6 terrorists with kid gloves. In this case, a woman who is seen and heard on her own video saying they came into the Capital to shoot Nancy in the head but couldnât find her, was allowed to plead guilty to a single misdemeanor charge of picketing or parading in the Capital.

Putting aside for the moment whether Sinema supports the Democratsâ agenda or not, at a bare minimum, she has a responsibility to express what her objections are, not behave like a teenager coyly stringing along two competing dates for the prom.
