Schaefer also suggested that “discipline in the homes” and men not leaving their families would also prevent gun violence.

So that they won’t go out to shoot?

Can someone ask state Rep. Schaefer how long and how hard has he prayed over this decision? And what specifically is he praying for or about? And then can we find his pastor, minister or priest and have Schaefer de “whatever” they do to a congregant that isn’t following Christ’s teachings.

ETA Schaefer represents Tyler, TX which is 59% white. He’s a member of the Texas Right to Life and Freedom Caucus. Yeah he’s one of those who doesn’t care about the public’s safety.

JFC, if you don’t wanna do gun control, why not at least do “bad guys” control?

I second this.

Well, sooner or later, someone he knows will be injured or killed by gun violence. Maybe then he will reconsider.

By all means, you brain-dead moron, make sure your constituents know you won’t do one god-damn thing to protect them so they and their children aren’t gunned down like rats at a dump. Make sure they understand that the supposedly God-given right to murder people on the street is more important than your sworn responsibility to act for the general welfare. There’s another God-given right that’s slipped your mind, you dumb bastard, the right to life. It’s in the Declaration of Independence fuckbrain. P.S. the Bill of Rights etc. was created by a bunch of unusually rational Enlightenment deists for the most part. They explicitly said in the amendment before the one you so venerate that this is NOT NOT NOT a nation with an established religion. P.S. GFY

I think we should require a background check and waiting period before the NRA can buy a legislator.

When our right to life conflicts with his right to pursuit of happiness. The Beatles must have had nimrods like him in mind when they wrote “Happiness is a warm gun (bang, bang, shoot, shoot).”

The 2nd Amendment is not a God-given right…none of the rights in the Constitution are. They all come from people, and it’s well past the time that gun nuts understood that, and the consequences if they continue to insist that killing children in America is just fine as long as they get to play with their bang toys.

texas gop lawmaker adamantly swears to never vote for gun control

In response, i swear to never consider him an honorable, patriotic, brave, virtuous, ethical man. Never.

Don’t worry, I myself am still a “good” person.

In fact, I also swear that I would rescue him from a burning, collapsing building -only after- I have rescued all the other humans, pets, and plants AND meditated for the proper amount of time giving my thoughts and prayers to all, every single one, of the gun violence victims in America.

“YES to praying for victims. YES to praying for protection. YES to praying that God would transform the hearts of people with evil intent,” he wrote.

Wake me when he calls for the Secret Service to stop protecting VIPs.

Dixie states would never let NRA disappear. Allegiance to Confederacy will continue.

While we’re at it, let’s talk about all those silly laws about not murdering or raping people. Have they stopped murder and rape? No, just a waste of time, and an intrusion on our sacred liberties.
