Texas GOP Approves Declaration That Biden Didn’t Actually Win

The Texas Republican Party now states as a matter of party platform that Joe Biden did not win the 2020 election, part of an extreme list of new platform items on which party members voted this weekend.

Is this the first salvo of the coming civil war?

Funny, Just this morning I passed a resolution that Texas representation doesn’t actually exist due to inaccuracies with their initial statehood process. Bye bye, Texas. Was nice knowing you.

I have made a point of reading the Texas GOP platform after every one of their conventions for 20 years because the Texas GOP is the incubator of every strain of batshit insane radical extremist nutdom national Republicans come to believe. Every crazy goddamn thing you see in it invariably finds its way into the RNC platform, and Republican mainstream thought, within 4 to 8 years.

If the California or New York Democratic party organizations ever adopted the kind of violent, insane extremist filth that the Texas GOP adopts every convention, the MSM would absolutely lose its mind. But because what comes out of Texas would break the Bothsides Narrative frame, they just ignore it.

Log Cabin Republicans deserve the treatment they receive. The masochists probably enjoy it too.

Texas. It’s like an alternate reality!

includes a declaration that homosexuality is “an abnormal lifestyle choice”

Separately, the party prohibited the Log Cabin Republicans of Fort Worth, a local branch of the gay conservative group, from setting up a booth at the convention.

It’s not extreme, it’s basically mainstream for Texas otherwise the GOP would not be winning all state-wide offices and huge majorities in the legislature. The GOP is offering voters what they think they want and voters agree and vote for them in huge numbers.

The platform also calls for the repeal of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

No biggie, right?

I’m in Texas, and the Lege is very, very heavily skewed to represent rural & lily-white districts and new-rich racist suburbans. This stuff is absolutely vile, but my biggest concern is–as with that Greitens filth that Facebook has already yanked down–the degree to which it hypes-up psychotic potential shooters.

Of course, that’s exactly why they’re doing it.

Anybody who tells you they vote republican because republicans represent conservatives is a damned fool, and most likely also a damned liar. The cult of tRump, fka the republican party, loudly and proudly proclaims that it stands for fascism. And they won’t even pretend to care about conservative ‘values’ once they’ve attained their goal of total power.
