Fox News host Steve Hilton urged President Trump to fire Rudy Giuliani in light of a New York Times report last week that reported that Giuliani came close to securing a lucrative deal to represent Ukraine while searching for dirt on the President’s political rivals.

No, he was neither. His current behavior doesn’t surprise anyone from NY, certainly.

I would suggest Steve Hilton is leading the charge to establish Rudy as Trump’s scapegoat in all things Ukraine.

As mayor of New York Guiliani managed to get rid of the homeless … and nobody knows where 30,000 of them went. Soylant Green, perhaps?
Then after 9/11 Guiliani proposed that the mayorality election be cancelled and that he be the permanent mayor.

Sounds like the party line has been agreed and the mouthpieces have been directed to promulgate it. Perhaps Trump thinks he can fire enough people that he ends up looking clean.

Trump never paid him. Soon we’ll here that Rudy was calling himself Trump’s lawyer, but it wasn’t really true. He was operating on his own.
Trump has already declared he doesn’t know what exactly Rudy was up to in Ukraine, and that Rudy has other clients, so whatever he was doing, by inference, may very well have been in their service, not Trump’s.
