Spreading COVID-19 To Own The Libs! Some Rebel Against ‘GOVERNMENT CONTROL’ Of Public Spaces | Talking Points Memo

Spread a pandemic to own the libs!

At least, that seemed to be the line from some conservatives in recent days, including prominent elected officials, as they chafed against actions taken by local and state governments to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The very near future will not be kind to these dipshits

In a Fox News interview on Sunday, for example, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) encouraged people to crstutowd restaurants.

Do they serve Covfefe there?

Proof (once again) that you can’t fix stupid. But maybe the virus will thin the ranks a bit.

They’ve lined up for the Kool-Aid and drank their cup.

Am I the only one thinking about the Darwin Awards when reading this sort of reasoning by conservatives? It’s striking the partisan divide on who thinks this is a real serious situation. If we see major disease clusters forming in red states with folks who primarily view Fox News, will that change the situation? Gosh, I’m getting so cynical in my old age…

As COVID-45 hits older folks much harder, all the old white dinosaurs that are the biggest demographic of the GOP are gonna be the first to go.

“One pastor said half of his church is ready to lick the floor, to prove there’s no actual virus,” Rev. Josh King of Second Baptist church in Conway, Arkansas told the Post. “In your more politically conservative regions, closing is not interpreted as caring for you. It’s interpreted as liberalism, or buying into the hype.”

Jim Jones and The People’s Temple?

Total amateurs!

Someone need to tell the Stable Genius that he and his RethugniCON sycophants might be encouraging asymptotic spreaders to infect their voting base…you know…those high-risk MAGAts.

But if they want to own the libs over their lives, go ahead and be a science denier and “new hoax” believer!

On a more honest note…

“If there is a silver lining to this coronavirus outbreak is that chances of becoming infected or dying from it are proportional to stupidity.”

Personally, I think these idjits should continue to interact, preferably in very small rooms, maybe engage in daily square dances. (This is not meant to disparage square dancing.)

But I’d feel a lot safer if MAGAts were required to wear their distinctive red headdresses (read: warning beacons) whenever they leave their homes so that the rest of us could easier practice safe distancing.

If only viruses would confine themselves to the ‘trollers’ . . .

I’ve been torn between my basic human decency (such as it is) and my opinion that these delusional idiots have had more than enough time to recognize the con they’ve signed up for, and not only haven’t they budged but they’re even more committed to owning the libs at any cost.

So now I’m fine that a bunch of them have to die to reveal the enormity and consequences of the lies they’ve been fed over the past month. The country will be better off without them.

Then why did you “close” your mind so tightly to reason?

I think you got the wrong tool there…

Yes, in fact, most of us do.
