Some quick thoughts on how government might minimize impact of COVID19:

  1. Put resources in place to support free and fair primary and general elections.
  2. Set up support network for senior citizens in every state
  3. Vital services task force – make sure we keep law enforcement, fire, paramedic professionals
    protected online.
  4. Utilities task force to support power, public transportation, water, sewer, and garbage collection.
    How are service providers at risk of infection?
  5. Develop plans to get recovered virus sufferers back to work quickly and in a in safe manner.
  6. Coordinate industry response of healthcare services and manufacturers.
  7. Financial task force to provide temporary relief to small commercial and residential borrowers.
    Rent lease relief for a month or two.
  8. Support local efforts to provide continuing education for K-college
  9. Direct Federal law enforcement to increase monitoring and response of online and other attacks
    against our country. Work with social media companies on this.
  10. Increase unemployment insurance funding.

What am I missing?

These sons of bitches are putting people at risk. The NY beauty queen is the worst. If she gets COVID-19 she might have a mild cold but her mother might end up on a ventilator or her grandmother might die. Most of the transmission in China happened within family groups.
