Over/under on Sondland testimony updates vs. Kushner security clearance form rewrites?

Cue the Republican gymnastics as they turn themselves inside out to try to twist the facts and ignore their obligations to our country and its Constitution.

Per The Times:

In the addendum, Mr. Sondland said he had “refreshed my recollection” after reading the testimony given by Mr. Taylor and Timothy Morrison, the senior director for Europe and Russia at the National Security Council.

Imagine looking at prison time can do that

Just like cute li’l Jack in this video might “refresh his recollection” after looking at himself in the mirror?

Remarkable how the sight of the hangman’s noose focuses the mind.

So Sondland is turning State’s Evi-Dunce?

What else did you NOT recall 1/3 Tres Amigos? Are you sure there was only a second phone call and not a third or fourth phone call with the POSpotus?

The more you recall, the more you show loyalty to your wife and NOT to the Criminal Orange Impeachiness!

President Trump barely knows Gordon Sondland. Yeah, there might be photos of the two of them together, but he takes photos with a lot of people. He hadn’t even heard of him until a couple months ago. Couldn’t pick him out of a line-up with a gun to his head.

“Those other people who told the truth refreshed my memory as to what the truth actually is. Please do not send me to jail.”

Lots of people are talking about it. It was quid pro quo. It was the best quid pro quo. Perfect quid pro quo. Bigly. Covfefe.

ETA: We are rapidly approaching the ‘It was quid pro quo [i.e., extorting a foreign gov’t in an effort to get them to manufacture dirt on a political rival], but so what’ phase of tRumpublicon government. We have clear evidence of criminality, but McConnell and the Senate Repubs are going to just collectively shrug and hope all it goes away if they talk about HRC’s emails and Benghaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazi instead.

and the schedule is tight- Sondland’s testimony “last month” and three page update “this week” and it’s not late on a Tuesday??? good thing there were no shows yesterday so the committee could fit him into a Monday slot…

Sondland: Changing the Trump scorecard column he’s in from

“The one guy who contradicted Ambassador Taylor’s testimony”

to

“Human scum”

What’s sad is that none of these people are falling on their swords for Trump. Sondland is looking out for Sondland. Same as the other guy who said he disagreed with what Trump was doing but didn’t think it was illegal.

They’re not protecting Trump. They’re willing to confess to everything and openly say they thought Trump was behaving unethically or wrong, but won’t admit they personally knew anything criminal happened. Nixon was a jerk, but at least he had loyal people who fell on their swords for him. Trump has no one. Probably not even his kids will sacrifice themselves for him.
