Nixon was part of the GOP machine.The only protection Trump gets are from GOPers looking to protect the machine. Heâs got some loyal dunces like Gaetz, but even McCarthy and Gym Jordan are most likely camping it up for the base.

The newly moved goalpost will be that Trump was only interested in making sure Ukraine did more to eliminate corruption in general, and itâs a normal diplomatic tool to use aid as a pressure point. Hunter Biden just happened to be one of the corrupt names that was caught up in the net. It wasnât a specific focus on Biden.
