What were the odds that Bone Spurs would say something totally over the line on the night he was Impeached ? I mean, it’s not like he’s never said anything outrageous to distract from really bad news about him that day. The guy is soooo predictable like that.

Because the popular vote does not determine the winner in a Presidential election, the Electoral College does. Pointing out Trump won an election under the Constitutional rules the Founders put in place hardly qualifies as a valid attempt at delegitimizing his victory. For the media to point out Trump won by the rules would be odd.
