Denial isn’t just a river with a quarantined cruise ship on it.

I’m still waiting for at what point does #ditchMoscowMitch finally get his stomach full of this nonsense and start convening the usual suspects to encourage a resignation.

At this point, should things not improve drastically in the next six months, the GOP will be wiped off the face of the map due to this incompetence. Their gravy train is coming to a shrieking halt and no one wants to poke the bear? Sheesh…

Captain Trump: “Yes, you heard me right! I want you to steer toward the iceberg! It’s just ice, for Christ’s sake!”

On the positive side, the images of Coronavirus on the news pages are a lot less disturbing than images of the occupant.

Ya know, its pretty warm in Panama and Brazil right now and Donnie’s li’l bug doesn’t mind at all. Lots of folks are popping up positive. Tom Hanks, NBA players, and gosh who knows how many aren’t getting tested. Moron is going to have to do something. COVID19 is getting too much attention.

I just read an opinion piece in the Washington Examiner, the right wing rag, that was absolutely withering on Trump’s speech. It was spot on. I left the web site quickly for fear of cooties.

That staffer must have snuck in there from Europe. Deport her now!

So sorry for the staffer but will probably be blamed for bringing the virus to WDC.
Trumpie come lately who walks around with his finger up his a$$ and his mind in Mar-a-Lago is still clueless.
He does not the mental capacity to understand what is happening.

Well they have known all along he’s an idiot. Go read what they said about him in the primaries before they realized he was going to win because they forgot that republican voters are idiots. They only really quit talking bad about him once he won. Graham is a perfect example. But now that they see the shit is hitting the fan and he’s going to fuck us all up if they don’t acknowledge he’s a moran (and Pense and all the foks surounding Donald too) and get someone in there to do the right thing before we’re all fucked over. And what really scares them is they realize they might be too late.

He has problems with simple arithmetic - his 6 bankruptcies are testament to that. Without someone to sue, blame, or assign a nickname to, he is lost.

Karma is alive and well. Rudy Gobert who tested positive mocked the coronavirus coverage and touched every mic after a press conference. He tested positive within a few days:

Understatement :medal_sports: of the year. I predict that in the near future Mitch/Pence, someone will decide that Trump needs to be isolated. They’ll tell him it’s for his own protection, but in reality it’s for ours.:crossed_fingers:

I doubt they care about the American people. It’s more about holding on to power.

Only way they move against Trump is if Moscow Mitch see that he’ll lose his seat and/or lose the Majority.

However, by the time they realize it, it will be too late to save their own asses.

I looked and don’t feel like I see the one you were reading. Got a link?

Scrub your hands like you just peeled a bag of superhot green chile and are going to take out your contact lenses.

I don’t think the public has given deep thought yet to the magnitude of this outbreak in terms of the economic hardship that will be visited upon millions and millions of workers. All these large events we see getting canceled have hundreds of people making a paycheck in the course of their production. Vendors of all kinds. Police getting overtime duty they’ve long ago factored into their budgets. Bars and restaurants. Souvenir sellers. Media companies and their advertisers. Your company sends everyone home for several weeks to work from their dining room table and now much of the building maintenance staff isn’t needed. Offices don’t need cleaned. Cafeteria workers stay home. The list of people that will be missing paychecks, and the reasons they’re missing them, is almost endless.

And now landlords, mortgage lenders, credit card companies, utilities, insurance companies and others come calling for what’s due every month. And in a few weeks millions won’t have it.

What then? There’s going to be a slow boil, getting worse by the week, of people getting panicked over their finances and health. Toss in many of them simultaneously dealing with actually having the infection. We could soon have massive societal upheaval.

Shit’s gonna get real.

Dump Trump immediately - like by noon today.

And … (gag … ugh … gag)

Never … never would I have uttered this … but (ugh!) … there is at least a remote chance that Pence can be pushed to attempt to make some movement in a remotely rational direction.
