Mitch McConnell will not allow an ex-SCOTUS nominee to cooperate with Democrats in the final 3-3/4 years of a Democratic Presidency. It’s the rule.

All this secrecy in the DOJ. Sunshine is the best disinfectant. Where is Susan Collins’ disappointment when you need it?

Bill Barr does not recall any of this? Of course he doesn’t. And I’m sure that will be his testimony if he responds to being subpoenaed to testify.

In February 2020, the New York Times reported, attorney general Bill Barr reignited the investigation, bringing in an outside prosecutor to investigate the case after determining that the DOJ’s national security division had let the cases “languish,” the paper said.

I understand why Dems want to hear from the Current AG, but in all fairness to Garland, I’m not sure what he can say other than what is already publicly known. I think the only person’s who can answer Congressional Dems questions will have to be hauled in under subpoena. But, I would really, really love to see the current AG launch a comprehensive and thorough investigation of the two previous AsG for their roles in subverting the mandated separation of powers in the Federal Government. We all know that road leads right back to T rumpp.

Actually, tequila is. Effective on both external and internal wounds, whether physical or emotional.

Sunlight exposure to the heart is rather inadvisable.

Senate Democrats have better be demanding all sorts of information from Garland. This is critical and this scheme is a coordinated effort by GOPer(s).

Well, the health department wanted to cite him for cockroaches in the kitchen at mar-a-gogo, but turns out even cockroaches won’t eat steak burnt that much.

I had hopes that the Obama administration would expose the war crimes of the Bush years. Never happened.
I had high hopes for the Mueller investigation. Everybody said he was a standup guy with integrity. Then he failed to do a complete job and left it to the feckless politicians to finish. And they all failed, miserably.
Now I’m hearing that Garland is great and can be trusted to do the right thing. And once again the feckless politicians are shirking their responsibility to expose the corruption of the trump administration - leaving it to the DOJ. And I am not holding out much hope for Garland.
WTF is going on?

Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t recall. His signature is on it somewhere. So is Sessions’s.

I will repeat: if Biden et al. think people aren’t LIVID about this shit, they’re dreaming. Move on from sedition and treason? It’s also terrible for voters’ morale, imo.
