It looks like he’s been sleeping in that suit.

Don’t tell me he had his hands in his pockets in that middle picture. His father would never put up with that.

I think he had just let go of the car door as he tottered out.

And take a look at that Secret Service agent holding the door…

Disheveled.

#1 indication of senility.

Yeah I think you’re right. He would never put his hands in his pockets. That was one of Fred’s things.

Well, he certainly doesn’t look great, but when does he look great? He hasn’t really seemed upbeat since the night Mitt came crawling to him for a cabinet appointment and Trump took him out for an upscale crow dinner. Without the goop he looks much older. I’m sure losing has been eating away at him. But I’m being stricter and more honest with myself about whether he’s on the verge of incapacitation. I still think he really doesn’t have another presidential run in him. He barely campaigned the last time. But I have no reason to think he doesn’t have another year or two of playing the fool in him. I have no idea what things are really like when you see him in person. They’re keeping him mostly hidden for a reason. But if he’s fading away I just don’t see it.

ETA OK I hadn’t seen all these images but now seeing them together I have this feeling he isn’t walking steadily there. In a couple he seems to have his hand out to help his balance. And with my own father his balance was one of the first things to be affected.

Did he sleep in that suit? Jeez. I guess they only give him the “good” drugs when he is heading out to slur…I mean speak to the public.

I don’t know - whatever they gave him before he appeared on Mike Lindell’s Frank broadcast had him slurring his words and he couldn’t unsquint his eyes.

They parked the car on an icy incline. That explains it. Plus the Blue Angels and military band startled him.

Am I reiterating my naiveté or shouldn’t any elected official who feels like they have or could be caught up in similarly politically motivated criminality be on board with finding out what’s real here? Why would it be solely democrats.?

Priorities. They know they have an administration that plays by the rules now. Anything they find out is likely to come back to bite them, and job one is always to get reelected. Anything that hurts that is to be avoided, no matter how desirable in itself it might be. Dignity too. A costly, unnecessary luxury.

He can name names for one thing.
We still don’t officially know who authorized this nonsense.
Well, we know in terms of it being obvious of course but just the same.

He was slurring badly in that speech.

You know I listened and I didn’t hear much slurring. But everyone else says he did. Will take everyone’s word for it because damn if I’m going to listen to it twice.

ETA obviously the eyes were like whoa and I was also struck by how tightly he’d wrapped his arms together. That suggests he’s got involuntary motion going on pretty much all over these days. Also he kept whopping the one hand on his arm and making a nasty noise in the microphones, the big expert on television. But I guess if they’d stopped him and asked him not to do it he’d have thrown a tantrum.

Just read that Ukraine is being admitted into NATO. How you like them apples, Putie?

Looks like he had to fly coach and got a middle seat.

Not anytime in the foreseeable future. It’s been NATO policy since 2008 to eventually admit Ukraine, just as it has also been NATO policy not to ever actually move for admission.

Good, I guess, though I find it a bit disturbing that over the years NATO has moved 1000 miles closer to the borders of Russia without Russia having changed (with the exception of Crimea).
