People I knew spent many weekends at gun shows collecting $5 NRA memberships. I wonder how they feel about LaPierre throwing it all away at a hotel in Beverly Hills.

The NRA “swagger” got its start in the regime of Charlton Heston. A man so light in his loafers he needed several six-guns on his person to keep him from floating away.

Please! Anyone donating to the NRA for the last 15 years or so is complicit in their flagrant greed and spending. How dumb did any of them have to be not to know that MadWayne was a greedy little pissant who had found his niche in a cushy job that made him feel like some sort of Satrap, and gave him power than he never deserved.
Intentional ignorance is no excuse.
