I did not claim she was the source of any transmission. I pointed out the apparent hypocrisy of calling for fines and removal of members failing to wear masks, which (tentatively) turned out not to be especially hypocritical if she just happened to be caught on tape in between face covering and gas mask thingie.

Because almost everyone has had ups and downs in life. We donât know what kind of hell formed the more negative aspects of a personality. A lot of people have issues stemming from shit they had little or no control over in their youth.
Consider Trumplethinskin. His father really, really twisted him into the asshole he is today. He was so badly twisted that he would never consider that he was imperfect and therefore never considered that he had a need to improve of change. Itâs multigenerational dysfunctionality. There is some pity for the child that was abused so horrifically that he was turned into a psychopathological monster.
I can also guarantee that Trumplethinskin is on my list of folks open to severe criticism after their death, just like Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Pol Pot, etcetera.

So, aside from any legal issue, consider the moral issue, what a person who actually cares about their family members, or their work colleagues, or the people they commonly interact with. What kind of person just doesnât give a damn about anyone elseâs risk for getting COVID? And double that crassness if it is potential lethal? What happened to any kind of social bond in this country, particularly in the august halls of the Congress of the U.S. Government?
No one should be allowed to serve in these positions without a serious, impartial, independent psychological review.

I prefer a field-expedient mask solution if they refuse to put on a standard mask - a clear plastic trash bag over the head, sealed tightly by duct tape around the neck.

I donât care if these people actually caught it from the GOPers (they probably did), what strikes me is the anti-maskers are so lost in their own assholes that they cannot extend the simple courtesy of putting on a mask when requested. Andy Biggs hasnât worn a mask since TRump said he wouldnât wear one. These are not people you can reason or compromise with. Margorie Greene is particularly scary in that she is truly a brainwashed cultist, where most of the others are just cynical, venal opportunists. Not sure which is worse - cultists can be deprogrammed occasionally but people like Andy Biggs never change - they just become more odious.

Health disparities are one of the biggest problems people of color and those living in poverty face. Stress is a major factor in poor health. And Republicans generally donât give a flying fuck.

Iâm not a fan of forgive and forget. Some things, IMO, should never be excused or forgiven. But, we could all start by trying to cultivate common sense and compassion, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. Itâs all teachable/learnable. But you have to start at square one. Weâre practically at the bottom now. We can pretty much only go up at this point. Except for dead cats bouncing (my apologies to cats/cat lovers â I wish I had a better description to use).
