We could have reversible vasectomies for all men until a woman agrees to carry their child. This is very minor medically compared to pregnancy and delivery. It could be seen as men sharing the birth experience. Abortion problem almost completely solved.

Part of me is surprised that he keeps on getting pantsed, over and over again, on national teevee, by a guuurrl, and the next day he stands right back up again and does the exact same thing all over, with the same results, and never seems to smarten up.
The rest of me remembers that his paychecks come from FOX.

Our optimism causes us to believe that our fellow citizens could not possibly be so selfish, so venal, so crooked/underhandedâŚbut it is time to admit that they are all those things, and that they do not care if they act all of those things right out in the open.
The question is: Do we have the guts to do what is necessary to stop them and to make sure that they never again hold the power to be such public assholes.

Like most of the attempts of the rightwing Taliban, this is clearly unconstitutional, and the backlash is mounting day by day. Like the gerrymandering and so many other of their attempts to suppress the right of POCs or Democrats to vote, or to have their vote counted, this will wend itâs way through the courts until the SCOTUS will have to hear and decide on it. Meanwhile, women in Texas will die because of these old white men who think women get pregnant all by themselves, and should be punished for it.
This will eventually be overturned by the Court, if the Congress does not get enough outrage poured on them to make them finally pass a law that settles this issue once and for all.
I am sending letters to all my Congresspeople and some others as well letting them know that they need to act.
Righties/Evangelical Nutcases never realize that when they do such outrageous things to try to control peopleâs private lives, they are the cause of new Federal laws to prevent them from their insane ideological excesses.

I know this is absolutely the most awful thing to think about, but it needs to be talked about -
This new law is a MONEY MAKER for any rapist - and think about it - An Uncle / Father / Brother who commits incest and rapes their Niece / Daughter / Sister can then sue them for 10,000.00 if they terminate a pregnancy that is the most abhorrent thing you can think of.
