The wildfires raging on the West Coast became an all but inescapable crisis around the country on Tuesday, with at least 27 people dead in three states, fires and evacuations starting in Idaho, milky smoke clouding the skies over Michigan and haze reaching as far as New York City.
Maybe when the dirt in the air reaches Casa Bellicosa, Mastodon will look up from his Twitter feed to comment on it.

I agree. Azar and Caputo should resign. Now. They only exist because they kiss Trump’s ass. I can think of a few more names who are guilty putting politics of a lying personality deficient president over the health and welfare of the American people.

The impeachment power comes to mind. As futile as the bleating, but it would put Rs on record as supporting this insanity instead of giving them the cover to keep saying, “Why no I hadn’t heard that”.
Schumer has no such power.
Impeachment arises from the House, not from the Senate, which Schumer doesn’t control.
Republicans are already on record as supporting this insanity, because of the way the dealt with the impeachment trial.

well, that was not in any way useful. i’ve watched several of Schumer’s speeches lately and he has been tearing them a new one.
Ben Carson, director of HUD, is a doctor. i don’t see why he couldn’t work double shifts.
