Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is concerned about the personal safety of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman following his Tuesday testimony that recalled how he alerted a top White House lawyer twice over the Trump administration’s pressure campaign on Ukraine to dig up politically advantageous dirt for the President.
Republicans are patriots and Christians. I’m sure there is nothing to worry about.
It’s unfortunate that a decorated veteran and Harvard grad, with 20 years of service to the nation, would probably be accorded more respect in Ukraine than he is here.
“Although he has served our country for more than 20 years and is a recipient of the Purple Heart after being injured while serving in Iraq, he has been called a variety of derogatory terms and some have even gone so far as to call him a spy and question his loyalty to the United States.”
It’s totally legit to suspect an American of espionage if they were born in another country.

The Democrats really need to do more of this…the vilification of people by the right wind news media needs to be stopped, because it ruins the lives of the people subjected to it. The woman who testified against Kavanaugh, Dr. Ford, apparently still receives death threats and had to make big changes to her life after her testimony. That just should not happen to any American, and it’s a right wing phenomenon that is encouraged from the very top of their party (and not just Trump).

And again thanks to Schumer. He knows how to play these things. The letter will raise up again the horrible slander spread by FOX, John Yoo (and is he not an agent for North Korea? Does he have an “affinaty” for foreign born Korean dictators?), and the Duffy dick-head. I want this story to get more coverage, and Schumer is doing his best to push the narrative.
