And what was wrong if she WAS an ‘ice queen’? I guess calm deliberation in the face of significant odds is supposed to be only a male trait.
I didn’t especially like her, but I sure as hell supported her.
If Bernie fails to win Michigan, he needs to end his candidacy, accept that Biden will be the nominee, and pledge to work for a united Democratic Party that will crush Trump and the Trumpublicans in Congress. He can and should work toward getting some of his policy proposals accepted incorporated into the Democratic Party’s platform and endorsed by Biden. Democrats do need to respond to the despair and fear that young people are expressing by their embrace of Bernie’s message. That’s essential to building a united-front coalition to cleanse the nation of trumpery.
But as soon as it becomes clear that Bernie no longer has a path to winning the nomination–and a defeat in Michigan will signal that–Bernie should end his candidacy and stop trying to split the anti-Trump resistance. There must be no repetition of the 2016 spectacle of a protracted Clinton-Sanders brawl, right down to the opening of the convention and even on the convention floor.
I’m ok with Sanders doing that and not campaigning a lot in Illinois. He might get one or two wins from it, but they’ll be pyrrhic ones.
Whatever.
Personality matters. It is not serious, it is style. Just because she’s a woman doesn’t remove affability from the analysis although that’s the reflex among the Hillary fans - noting I supported her including donating during 2016, I am no Bernie Bro nor Hillary hater. However, she doesn’t have a good Big Stage personality. Neither did Kerry for example (or Dukakis).
Harris is serious not Ice Queen in public personality. Klobuchar also. (Both were, in that order, my preferences ahead of Biden).
A woman can be Serious and serious, and have a good Big Stage personality. Or not. Running to Gender to excuse Hillary’s weakness in terms of charisma is bad excuse making just like Bernie supporters fooling themselves about his charismatic appeal behind his core.
(and yes misogyny exists, had an effect, but I can’t agree it is The Factor)
I loved this interview with her. She is one strong mutha with a great sense of humor.
The most hated person in America got fewer votes in November, yet still won.
He wasn’t at the time. Took him a bit to work up to it.
Never heard of that theory but, I certainly agree with it
Wrangling over the format of “debates” is as old as the “debates” themselves.

Some people said he was
numero uno Donald
Those who are caught up in it, will naturally dispute it or claim something different.
However , the aforementioned constantly reveal themselves.
Sure.
But it’s still OK to not have seen HRC as an “ice queen.”
Even if he won Michigan, unless its by like 25 points its over.
Meh, that’s just an opinion article.
Hillary was disliked by both the Right and a good chunk of the people who ended up voting for her.
Seriously f*ck the horse race obsessed media
Ray of hope…but so far BS is under performing his 2016 numbers.
Not You
Flailing
At this point, the only question is who Sanders will blame for the bloodbath coming, because it won’t be himself, that’s for sure.
Your OneWordAnswer™: Hillary.
Purity means never having to say you’re sorry.
The corporate establishment backed by the billionaires of course.
