Pundits, high profile (I know) supporters of Sanders will eventually say something.
If we really cared about health issues we wouldnt be fighting over 70 something year olds. I would rather see the VP pick.
Right? It’s silliness. I mean, I suppose you could cry “ageism” but there’s a difference between something like saying “we need to know if this person is fit enough to survive 4 years of grueling, sleepless, stressful work under constant attack from political enemies and their propaganda machine” versus “old white men need not apply!!!”
So Brianna made a mistake and corrected a few minutes later.
Trying to make this into a major scandal will just backfire on the
media just like all the other tries to smear Bernie. Maybe Joy Reid
will bring back her body language expert to analyze the breaking story.
They have nothing on Sanders on the issues so we will just continue
to hear this nonsense.
Unlike hear at TPM, Bernie has 70% approval level consistently the
highest amongst Democrats. That is because he is an honest and
likable person who has solid platform that most agree with.
Piling on is just not going to cut it. I notice that Jennifer Rubin is
calling Brianna a “Bully” ha.
Ok Brianna is a little young and it shows. But Bully? Really?
I really don’t like the way that the Sanders crew has been putting out disinformation: outright lies, exaggerations, innuendos. If Bernie is so great, the truth can speak for itself, and all they need do is promote the truth.
This makes me increasingly suspicious, and it’s no wonder Vladimir Putin is promoting Bernie as the Dem nominee. (Also Trump, but he’s just a Putin Puppet, like Hillary said so long ago.)
lMedical records are not an unreasonable request. Her comparison is very Trumpish if I do say so.
“I think the American people deserve to know exactly as much as every other candidate has released in this race currently and historically. What you’re seeing right now is really reminiscent of some of the smear and skepticism campaigns that have been run against a lot of different candidates in the past, questioning where they’re from and aspects of their lineage.”
There certainly is a difference, yes.
And the Sanders team had better know it.
The historical rewrites abound…anything…ANYTHING to arrive at the victimization grievance position…
I don’t have a time stamp for the interview, but I don’t think that she immediately corrected her mistake.
The pundit class used to walk the Tenderloin looking to pick some easy money, now they’re making easy money working for a candidate.
They used to disclose their affiliation with campaigns. Now they don’t and pretend to be impartial.
Currently mangling this song.
The people I know in the real world that are the types to say “old white men need not apply!!!” are also the most diehard Bernie fans. There’s a sort of complete lack of self-reflection that I also see in Trump supporters.
With Bernie its gone from “OK, Boomer” to “Boomer? OK!”
It’s follow the money and all about the Benjamins, two cliches that’ll never grow old.
Hey now! That’s misinformation, sanders is not a Boomer, he is older than Boomers.
As long as the center left lane remains this badly split, Bernie can get away with stuff like this. If voters feel that withholding health records is unacceptable, they can vote against him, vote for 1 of the 3 center left candidates on the ballot in NV and then he’ll learn his lesson very quickly.
The longer the campaign goes on, the more Sanders seems like the Trump of the left.

Or 8 years, ideally.
