Wednesday’s Nevada debate is still hours away, but Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Michael Bloombergs’ campaigns are already exchanging blows.
[Sanders press secretary] then went on to argue that “it’s really telling” that Bloomberg hasn’t received the same kind of scrutiny though [Bloomberg] “has suffered heart attacks in the past.”
Rule that’s too often ignored:
When you don’t know something, don’t make pronouncements about it.
This would be different if it was Trump accusing Bloomberg of suffering past heart attacks. He’s not required by anyone to tell the truth.
Bernie hears Bloomberg’s footsteps, lol.
If the present incumbent followed that rule, he’d never be heard from again.
Well yesterday was the first day of early voting in Texas and I don’t know who they voted for but turnout was about double what it was in 2016.
On the staggeringly long list of reasons for democrats to not vote for Bloomberg, his being 78 and having undergone heart surgery is way down on that list. It’s definitely below the sexism, racism and civil rights trampling.
Sanders’ people need to stop being fuck ups. He’s gotta do a better job policing his own people. Every time they step in it, he tries to just move on like it doesn’t say something about his campaign and the people he relies on. He’s wrong, it matters that he’s hired a bunch of assholes and fuck ups. It matters more that they rarely get held accountable.
Good but I hope it is mostly Democrats.
I read that a Sanders spokesperson compared a call for Sanders to release health info to birtherism.
Yeah, because no other candidate has ever been asked about health.
Sanders has not appointed a single highly competent person to a major position in his campaign. This does not bode well for his cabinet.
Statistically, that should be good news for us. Any demographic data on who is showing up?
I don’t know.
Results matter, his are pretty good right now, better then rest of the field.
If he followed any rule …
That is a good in itself.
Yea I couldnt find any info.
I’m just passing along what they said last night on the local news.
“the American people deserve to know exactly as much as every other candidate has released in this race currently and historically”
Gray’s initial remark sounds a bit too defensive, as though there’s something to hide. How many other candidates had heart attacks last fall? None. That she didn’t have a more upbeat prepared response will only invite further questioning.
A 78 yr old man with a history of heart disease is applying for the most physically and mentally demanding job in the world. He is sending his surrogates out to lie about the other elderly men applying for the same job. Take one look at previous presidents and the aging that occurs during their terms. At least the other two old men have released their medical histories. Bernie release your records.
