And Justice Thomas doesn’t look as if he’s in the best of health, either. It’s time for SCOTUS reform. Do away with lifetime appointments. Perhaps an independent panel could recommend candidates. Increase the number of justices to 11, or 12. What’s wrong with ties? If tied, the lower court ruling stands, and an even number would mean no more 5:4 (or 6:5) decisions. For a case to be firmly decided, The majority would have to be at least 2.

Our country won’t ever be right until we pass a law that accomplishes what the fairness doctrine did.
Fox has to be restrained.That should be a priority if we ever control all three branches again.

Having a liberal or progressive version of Fox is not a solution.

I’m starting to think let them show themselves as craven and hypocritical as they possibly can at this point (not that I want another Moron justice, god forbid) for all to see. If there isn’t one scintilla of moral courage, fine - then let’s see how fascist you really are. Along those lines, here in VA, rural sheriffs are already saying that will not enforce any new gun control laws. What the hell is next …

Does Mitch have a Democratic challenger yet for 2020? Defeating him is one of the keys to progress. The other key is the Ds winning the Senate in 2020. That would neuter him.
