Romney Pushes Back On Trump Effort To Suppress Mail Voting: ‘We Want People To Vote’ | Talking Points Memo

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) said Friday that he sees mail voting as “more secure” than traditional in-person electronic voting, a blow to President Donald Trump’s months-long attack on mail voting as fraudulent to boost his chances of re-election.

Sorry Mitt, anything you say now is TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE.

“I don’t know of any evidence that voting by mail would increase voter fraud,” Romney

Mittens…the party accusing voter fraud is the one committing ELECTION Fraud…
Just ask Kush-Ye or Don-Ye!
Just say it Mittens…I dare you…

It’s criminal!

Why is Mitt Romney one of the only republicans who actually has logical opinions?

A lone (weak) voice in a spineless GOP wilderness…

I’ll take it…

Is Mitt Romney the only republican senator who is not a “Jeffrey Epstein Productions” alumnus?

Funny, District Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan saw things the same way recently in Penn.

Words to live by, say what you want to about Romney, this took guts and integrity. He took a lot of abuse back in Utah for his impeachment vote. I’ll never vote for him, but he sure walks the walk.

But other republicans know that if everyone votes they will lose power and they are willing to commit any offense to the American People as well as the Constitution to archive that just like they are willing and aggressively colluding with the Russians to win elections to stay in power.

Talk is cheap. Perhaps doing something about the sabotage that is underway would be an idea? It’s easy to do (vote to convict) or say (mail in voting is safer) stuff when you know it will have no impact other than on your “image”. This is like having “concerns”. Unimpressive.
What ya gonna do???

Maybe he was actually listening to Adam Schiff’s impassioned end-of-impeachment speech, reiterating that everyone knows Trump will never change.

Do we know why Megan Brennan, the Postmaster General before NoJoy resigned, retired, or was forced out?

(and while trying to find her name I ran across the 3rd Postmaster General under the Continental Congress-Ebenezer Harzard. 1) Ebenezer is just not a name you hear outside of Dickins, and 2) Is it wise to appoint anyone with the last name of Hazard in post that the public depends on?)

Bingo. I’m curious if Mittens would have voted for impeachment if his vote would’ve made the difference of Trump being impeached or not. It’s easy to do the right thing if the positive consequences outweigh the negatives. Especially if you have political ambitions for the future.
I’m pretty sure this is why he voted like he did:

Voters approve of Romney’s impeachment vote to convict Trump 50%-39%,

Utah votes by mail, don’t they? Anyway, I’ll take Mitt’s opposition to the attack on the USPS. It’s better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Wouldn’t call myself a huge fan but I’ll say this for him: He appears not to be a fucking traitor to his nation.

The silence of the Republican lambs shows they are all in with a stolen election and intend to be part of the coup d’état.
People are waking up to the blatant strategy from the bunker to sabotage the USPS to keep us from voting safely. And what his minions are doing is permanent, because they have a highly vested interest in destroying it. People who depend on the USPS for reliable delivery of medicine, checks, letters, merchandise, and all the business papers of commerce are not going to put this in their column of things they approve of. Oh, and the Holidays are coming right up with all those cards and presents. Thanks The Donald.

Still waiting to find out whether the evidence of voter fraud was submitted to Judge Ranjan yesterday as ordered. I can’t find any reporting one way or the other. Would that information be available, or will we have to wait for further rulings from the judge?

We want people to vote ONLY Republican. It’s been clear for 50 years now.

Mitt Romney is growing in stature in my eyes, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s because he’s truly worthy or because he’s the only tiny bit of wheat in a field full of shriveled chaff.
