In an inquiry about his alleged designs on becoming a dictator, Trump replied to Sean Hannity: ‘No, no, no, other than day one. We’re closing the border, and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I’m not a dictator.’”

Trump has been acting like a dictator since inauguration day, so that would make him a liar, yet again.

I’m sure Roberts has figured out that if Trump upsets enough people so the Democrats actually take back control of the country, then it is a bad precedent to allow judges to be impeached due to, oh I don’t know, relying on the Witchfinder General to make decisions about modern day issues and to take “gratuities” for their decisions. I mean protecting his ass IS rule number 1.

The Framers knew what they were doing when they established our to country’s judicial.system:

Article III
Section 1

The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

One has to wonder if/when Johnnyboy might begin to understand what a totally boneheaded move it was to give this criminal a get out of jail card to begin with.
Do you think that by the time some of these cases get to SCOTUS he might think it would be a good idea to overturn that “presidential immunity” nonsense?No hope for the likes of Thomas or Alito, but the rest of them might be able to see how dangerous their ruling could be.

They will NEVER overturn the “presidential immunity” ruling as that would be to confess that it was ill-decided to begin with. At best, they MIGHT clarify what it means in a practical sense. Those who voted in favor of the immunity ruling have always claimed to be “conservative” and “strict constructionists,” but contrary to being “conservative” or “strict,” they made it up from whole cloth.

Unsurprisingly, they seem quite at ease devouring the faces of members of the administration, including new appointees and hires.

I know. Righties NEVER admit they might be wrong about anything. Redefining is a good rightwing tactic when they have been caught in another of their hypocritical pronouncements. Redefining would be good…if it takes away Donnie’s hubris just a bit. Threatening him with jail does seem to have an effect on his behavior…just a bit.

Needed: an amendment - or a rider to #25 - specifically stating it’s disqualifying for any elected US official knowingly to induce mass psychosis among his constituency.

The public rebuttal is good up to the moment John gets a call from Leonard Leo. Then he will be on board with impeaching any judge appointed by Obama.
