Republican Rep/Bigfoot Fan Under Fire From Local GOP For Officiating Gay Wedding

Bet you weren’t expecting that kind of reappearance from this particular congressman, were you?

Committee chair Diana Shores, who led the censure effort, told NBC News that Riggleman had “contradicted his promises to represent the district” by participating in the wedding.

So no wiggle room for Riggleman?

“Their actions were clearly political, financially motivated, and lack credibility,” said Chelak.

This pretty much sums up the current Republican party.

So the CCRC doesn’t like the gay, but seem to be OK with the adulterer at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Is censure akin to shunning?

Man on Bigfoot hijinks! Is this a great country or what?

To be fair, they seem fine with gay men working to put the GOP in power (both spouses were staffers). What they object to is treating gay people as if they were endowed by their creator with inalienable rights, such as life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

No room for Riggleman to wiggle, man. At least no room for his antic personality in the GOP of today.

Woah. This piece just blew what’s left of my mind.

A Republican officiating at a gay wedding.

2 gay men working for a Republican.

And there’s really such a thing as Bigfoot erotica? Hold my beer.

Afraid you will spill the beer while doubled over laughing?

And honestly, it’s a realistic, plausible fantasy scenario, compared to all the regular-Joe middle-aged guys who think there’s some imaginable reason that, say, Scarlett Johansson would agree to spend four seconds in the same room with them.

Death awaits me because now I have seen and heard it all.

Or a most excellent Trolling of the Republican party.

Hold on a sec, just reread your handle. It can be voluntary? I thought it was like wrinkles and ear hair, unavoidable.

Being a curmudgeon is not voluntary. I think it’s the karmic punishment inflicted on you for having been a curmudgeon in a previous life without trying to fight it at least a little. As a punishment it’s a little too on the nose if you ask me but yeah, it’s a punishment. I had a very nice girlfriend three decades or so ago who told me in her gentle, tolerant way that my curmudgeonly side was the “least attractive part of your personality.” People who affect curmudgeonliness vastly overestimate how cute or funny it is. : (
