Naw, Pootie just loves chaos and understands fully its strategic value. He has no particular horse in this race, he’s just trying to destabilize everything and everybody to destroy the US.

Who said this was hostile? Russian hackers breach the RNC but supposedly take nothing? Bullshit. They’re either in possession of shit the RNC doesn’t want anyone know even exists and is hoping nobody will ever find out OR this is being used as cover for the RNC actually just sharing stuff like its oppo research, voting lists, demographic data, etc. like Manafort had provided so that Putin’s interference in 2022 and 2024 can be more targeted, effective and efficient. “Ooops, we just don’t know how the Russians could have gotten their hands on THAT…must’ve been that hack!” Could even be a sloppy combination of both I suppose.

I cannot imagine Putin telling a joke unless it involves torture and maiming. His practice revolves around transactional politics. Like Trump, everything is just a zero-sum game.

Yeah but if they had shared, how would we know? This was a breach by hackers - why would that be necessary if they were sharing already?

I’m just toying with ideas, but why not just stage it so you can lie that you never shared anything (or at least that you never shared THAT, whatever THAT ends up being), and so they must’ve taken it? Admittedly, it’s all a little hazy since we have so little information, but I won’t be surprised if we hear that excuse at some point.
