Dear Leader Josh M opined recently about ‘future seeing’- what we seen and know today being much more clear and obvious in the future. All Trump’s got going is his Rush Limbaugh Show schtick. He’s losing bigly on ALL other fronts.
Sadly, White Supremacist violence is so baked into the American political cake, that the prospect (as per Rick Perlstein dedication in ‘Nixonland’) of Americans killing other Americans is very high. But what ever comes by the way of the “Tree of Life”/ Timothy McVeigh killers, it will not be sustained.

Very likely there is a conservative interpretation of the Constitution that does not require the outcome of the election to be followed or prevents the establishment of a monarchy.

I’m not sure that DoJ has such direct jurisdiction over strictly military matters. That’s a whole other legal process and system that only falls under DoJ’s jurisdiction if statutory laws are broken. I don’t know that this would be that. There are UCMJ prosecutors and judges and they’ll handle it.
Unfortunately, yes, they can. Some are probably in the military and in charge of nukes or other WMD. Others are in law enforcement and can do much damage. Then there’s those militias. If they’re properly prepped and organized and have the implicit support of the administration, who knows what could happen. They have everyone’s name, phone GPS data and addresses. Not saying it will happen, but it could. The consequences of losing the WH and senate for not just Trump but his GOP cronies could be catastrophic, and the whole RW project could end if that happens.
So, they’re motivated, and capable. But will they?

“Italy” has been an uneasy conglomeration of former city-states — including more old archrivals than you can shake a stick at — from day one. At best, it was first formed as an alliance of enemies-of-one-another’s-enemies.
That the Italian tricolor isn’t bandied around in demonstrations of performative patriotism should surprise nobody.
Italy’s performative patriots do, on the other hand, quite often wave around the flags of their respective old former city-states. Or wear/display those ancestor city-states’ heraldic crests, etc etc.
Or wave around soccer club gear. (Soccer ultras are VERY politicized; ironically, in recent years this has become less so in Italy than in other countries, e.g., in Spain FC Barcelona’s fandom doubles as a Catalan separatist movement, or in Israel Beitar Jerusalem is more or less an arm of the Likud party).
In other countries that are pastiches of immigrants with jus soli citizenship, there is every bit as much performative flag-waving as there is here in the States. In just about every single country in South America, for instance, the de facto flag corps is every bit as much in your face as they are here.
In Brazil absolutely more so (with the tiebreaker, if one is needed, being Brazilians’ absolutely inimitable tendency to wear their flag on — or even as — their clothing).

It’s high time we should stop dignifying them with this term — which carries, at least somewhat, the “well-regulated” connotations left over from 2A — and start calling them what they are: Street gangs.
Disobeying unlawful orders does NOT undermine “our entire system” (whatever the fuck that means). In fact, it happens all time. There are two choices (you even mentioned one above) for those refusing to obey unlawful orders: resign or get fired. So please stop insisting on something that simply isn’t true.
